Roxborough Rebels 2011 win "Around the Horn Plus"!!
The Roxborough Rebels 2011 are the "Around the Horn Plus" Champs of Week #9 in the Skills competition for Cooperstown Dreamspark!!
The boys beat out 103 teams from around the country to win. The winning time was 21.69 seconds!
Way to go boys!! GO REBELS!!
Congratulations to Tommy Sparacino for being one of the 6 finalist out of 104 players/teams for the Road Runner Competition.
Tommy placed 3rd with a time of 12.81 seconds. Awesome job GO REBELS!!

Justus pitched a "No Hitter" in our second game of the tournament against the Enfield Reds (CT).

21st Ward JL Tournament 12U Champs 2011!!!
Cal Ripken Memorial Day 2011 Tournament
The Roxborough Rebel's came to play this weekend!! The team went 3 - 0 in the regular pool play. The team took on the New York City Panthers on Wrigley field beating them 6-5. Then onto Cal Sr Yard to face the Kingston Royals, winning 2-1. Saturday morning's win(11-10) on Nationals Field against the Freehold Falcons advanced the boys to Monday's playoff games. The Rebel's took on New Jersey Thunder, in the morning on National's field winning 4-1 which put them into the semi's to face the #1 seeded team, South Jersey Young Guns. The boys played hard, while dealing with a high heat index, but this is where their tournament came to a close. The boys played this weekend with heart and as a true team! We are so proud of all their accomplishments! They would like to thank all their supporters and fans, especially thier coaches for getting them prepared for this journey of a lifetime! GO REBELS!!
ECTB's Mother's Day Classic 2011!
Congratulations to the Roxborough Rebel's! The boys placed second in the ECTB Mother's Day Classic in Bally, PA. After weather, once more,
delayed one of their tournaments the team came out and played hard.
It was a long day, winning their 1st game on Sunday morning they advanced to keep playing at 2:30, 4:30 and then the Championship game at 6:30.
They had heart and giving it their all! We are so proud of them!!

Cal Ripken 2011 Tournament ~ Easter Holiday Classic
Congratulations to the Roxborough Rebels for a great performance at the Cal Ripken Tournament Easter Holiday Classic 2011. The boys made their presence known for their athleticism and sportsmanship going 2 - 1 in regular play.
Mother Nature did not cooperate and cut the tournament schedule short! We are so proud of the boys!
A special congratulations to Tommy Sparacino for throwing a perfect game with 16 strike outs in game 1 (Friday, April 22, 2011)! It was an outstanding performance and we are so proud to be apart of such a milestone in a young players baseball career!

Mattingly Baseball donates bats to Rebels!!!!
Mattingly Sports has donated two of the best bats in their line to the Rebels for use by the team in their upcoming
practices and tournaments.
One of the bats . . . the BALISTK (pictured here) is their newest bat and not available to the general public until next month. The Rebels will be one of the first teams to get their hands on it.
