Pee Wee Division: ages 6-7 tackle football
Rookie Division: ages 7 through 8 tackle football

In addition, each tackle team has an associated cheerleading
squad managed by a cheerleader coach. Cheerleading is for ages 5 through 13. There will be a
cheerleading competition held at the later part of the season where the cheerleading squads can
compete with other squads within the Central Texas Youth Football League.
For tackle divisions, the official NCAA rules are utilized as modified by CTYFL to
accommodate the special requirements of youth football. Each registered player will get to play in
games so long as they practice with the team. Coaches are carefully selected and serve on a
volunteer basis. All games are officiated by paid referees.
Once games begin, practices are limited to no more than 3 per week with practice times being
generally at 6 PM to no later than 8:00 PM and commence thed on orabout first week of August.
Practices are at the Stony Point High School; location
is determined by your head coach.
Flag 8-9 and 10-11 games are played on Friday nights and all other games are played on
Saturday beginning on or about the last week of August, depending on the number of teams. The season
ends prior to Thanksgiving. Home games are played at Old Settler’s Park with other teams from the
surrounding area. Away games will also be scheduled at fields in those communities.
Come be a part of the fastest growing league in the Round Rock community. Our league emphasis
is attractive to the entire family as we promote a program that teaches fundamental football,
cheerleading and fun. If you are interested in becoming a participant or coach please look for our
on line registration form or feel free to contact a board member.
