New Board Elected for 2009-10 Season
2009-11-20

The new Board of Directors was elected at the November Board meeting. Congratulations to all the new board members. Their time and commitment to RJBL is appreciated. All board members and their contact information can be found by clicking on "Committee Members" on the menu to the left.

November 2009
Dear Readington Parents, Guardians and Players,
On behalf of the new Readington Township Junior Baseball League (RTJBL) Board of Directors, we would like to first wish everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving Day!! Secondly, RTJBL is very pleased to welcome you to our 2010 Spring Baseball Season! Registration for our 2010 Season will be open starting next month; December 2009!!

For those of you new to the League this year, we are so happy that you are here and we hope that you and your child will have a great time, learn new skills and fall in love with baseball as so many of us have by playing in Readington Township.

The RTJBL program had a very successful 2009 season. One of the key highlights was the implementation of the new Major 70 League for players 10-12 years of age. This new level allowed our players an opportunity to play “real” baseball prior to making the jump to Babe Ruth League. Additionally, the children of Readington are very fortunate that we have a baseball program that provides them with quality playing fields, equipment and the finest volunteers that help support the program. Since 1955, volunteers like you have donated both your time and sponsorships to help keep the program running. RTJBL is a not-for-profit organization that manages a large baseball budget to support over 600 players in the League with over 60 Managers!

This year we have many new Board Members who are excited to bring new ideas to the League that will help foster a fun and exciting environment for our players, parents, siblings and grandparents. Stay tuned for more information here on the RTJBL website.

In closing, RTJBL remains hopeful that each of you will help and continue to be involved in a positive manner. Our unfettered commitment to you, in return, is that we will work tirelessly to provide a safe, fun and exciting learning experience for your child.
As always, we thank the Whitehouse Athletic Association for its continued support of the program.

Best regards,
Frank Lamberta
RTJBL President
