Welcome to the NEW Sandston Jets
NOW Accepting Head Football Coaches Applications!!!!
We are now accepting football coaching applications for the 2012 season for all divisions. Please Mail to: PO Box 606 Sandston, Va. 23150
- UNIFORM RETURN -
If you have not returned your Sandston issued equipment please contact your coach or a board member to make arrangements to do so. You may also send an email by clicking on the blue spinning mail box on the home page. Failure to return any Sandston issued equipment may preclude your child from any future participation in Sandston activities until the equipment is returned.
*Football Equipment that needs to be returned includes: helmet, shoulder pads and game pants.
*Cheering Equipment that needs to be returned includes: top, skirt, maroon sweatsuit and pom pom.
- BOARD ELECTIONS -
Congratulations to Kris Henshaw on his re-election to Vice-President and Rhonda
Jackson for her re-election to Treasurer.
We are still accepting letters of interest for the following Board positions for the 2012 season which we will begin appointing in February:
(1) Metro Representative,
(2) Assistant Metro Representative,
(3) Athletic Director,
(4) Equipment Director,
(5) Cheer Director,
(6) Assistant Cheer Director,
(7) Concessions Director,
(8) Team Parent Coordinator and
(9) Paramedic.
Those interested in one of the positions must submit their interest in writing by Sunday, January 8, to sandstonjets@comcast.net (click on spinning mailbox on left). The letter of interest should include, but not be limited to, the position of interest; qualifications the candidate possesses that would be assets to them in the capacity of the selected position, any special skills, training or trade, contact information and the candidates current and past affiliation with SJFCYA.
AWARDS CEREMONY
If you did not receive your trophy please contact your coach first, to see if your coach has the trophy. If the coach does not have the trophy then please contact us via email (blue spinning mailbox on home page) to make arrangements to pick up your child's trophy.
