Scorpion Mission
The mission of Scorpion Youth Football Association, in partnership with individuals, parents and the community, is to create life long learners, who are competent, self disciplined and goal oriented, by providing a unique and challenging experience in a safe, healthy, productive environment adapted to the characteristics of the young adolescent.
Scorpion Cheer is a member of the Central Texas Youth Football League (CTYFL) which is a no boundaries league, whose mission is to allow any boy or girl the opportunity to participate in cheerleading. What makes us different than other leagues, is that we break our children up by age and ability. Here is how we break it down:
Mascot: age 4 (non - competative)
Flag : ages 5 and 6 years old
Rookie : ages 7 and 8 years old
Juniors : ages 9 and 10 years old
Seniors : ages 11,12 & 13 years old
The cut off date for Ages is July 31.
Registration Fee: $175.00
What’s included in the Registration fee? Cheerleading Uniform, bloomers, cheer socks, pom-poms, hair bow & cheerleading bag. Fitting dates & times will be announced. Cheer registration deadline July 1st. All registration must be paid in full.
Practice Location: Crockett High School, beginning in early August. Practice twice a week. Additional practices are required for competition purposes. Games are on Saturdays during the regular season.
Summer Cheer Camp: July 20-22, 2010 & July 27-29, 2010, Crockett High School, everyone is welcome. Camp Fee: $35 per week or $55 for both weeks. You don’t have to be a cheerleader to attend camp.

Notice: Registration for SAO Scorpion Youth football/cheer is open to all children ages 4 - 13. Registration must remain until 08/09/2010 (except for cheerleading, registration end on 07/01/2010) and all who wish to register by this date must be accepted as long as they make required payments, provide required CTYFL documents and meet all other CTYFL eligibility requirements. No try-outs will be held - all children who register for SAO Scorpion Youth football/cheerleading will play. Violations of this CTYFL policy will not be tolerated.
