Fall Improvement Programs Set
Sawtooth Baseball is offering two programs to help local 10-12 year-old (as of April 30, 2011)players improve their game. Sunday, position-specific practices will be held October 3rd and 10th, followed by team practices beginning the week of October 18th. Competition will include a Saturday jamboree in Meridian on October 23rd and culminating in the Fall Extravaganza Tournament in St. George, Utah on October 29-30.

Buhl and Northside Win Summer Classic!
Congratulation to the Buhl Majors and Northside All-stars for winning their division at the Buhl Summer Classic! Thank you to all the coaches, players, and fans for making this such a success. A special thank you to the Buhl Youth Baseball folks for all their hard work for the kids!

Small Group Players Show Great Improvement!
The small group sessions proved valuable as the hitters improved exit speed (the speed at which the ball leaves the bat) by an average of 15 M.P.H.! The pitchers also improved velocity by an average of 3.1 M.P.H.! See the "handouts" section for individual numbers.

Spring Trainers end Campaign:
The SBA Spring Training Program came to an end last Saturday. It was a great ending as we hosted the Bonneville Bees and I.F. Chukars. Thank you to all the players and parents for a terrific inaugural year!
