Welcome to the Falcons Youth & Family Services.
VISION
To restore vision, hope, dreams, goals, aspirations, character and community values. To rebuild youth, families and communities by repairing the damage done by social messages that does not teach or validate personal and or social responsibility. To empower youth, families and communities through: educational services, financial literacy, cultural appreciation, health and nutritional awareness and social responsibility.
Parents our mission is to empower your child in every imaginable way. Here are the Falcons programs for this football and cheer season:
- “Athletics after Academics”: designed to ensure that our kids UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF EDUCATION AND WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT.
- Our Mentoring & “Victory in Values” program is comprised of certified mentors, who have weekly contact with his/her mentees.
- Our School Monitoring program is designed to give us weekly information on our participants for five different areas:
- Completion of School Work
- Obeying Class/School Rules
- Completion of Homework
- Attitude Toward Authority & Peers
- Overall Effort to Improve Performance
The new youth Football & Cheer Season is here, and we are looking forward to a great season. We have a lot of exciting things planned this season. We will focus on winning on the football field, school house and the community.
Thanks to the Water Buffalo Club we now have our mobile homework trailer. The trailer will be at all practices and participants who need help with homework will get help in the homework trailer.
Our practice location: Bethune Middle School, 155 West 69th Street Los Angeles, CA 90003. Practices are from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
Your additional cost will be personal protection pads and cleats.
