Scripps Ranch Little League is a baseball organization for children of league age 5 to 18 who live in the 92131 zip code. We have a Spring and a Fall season. Registration for the Spring season starts in November and evaluations (tryouts) for MAPs through Juniors divisions are held in January. Teams are chosen at the end of January, and practices start in February. Games are played from early March through early-to-mid June. Our Seniors (ages 14-16) and Big League (ages 17-18) divisions have assessments and team creation in May. Scripps Ranch also has a Challenger Division for children LA 5-18 with physical and mental disabilities.
Registration for the Fall season (also known as Fall Ball or Winter Ball) is in July/August. Teams are chosen and start practices in September and the season runs from October until the middle of November.
Our Registration page explains how a child's league age is determined and gives the age ranges of the children in the different divisions and more information on how and when to register.
Player related questions should be sent to the Player Agent. If you have a question or suggestion regarding the web site please contact the webmaster. Additional contact information can be found in the Contact Info area.

SRHS Baseball fundraisers
As part of our partnership with the SRHS Baseball program, we would like to let you know about some great SRHS Baseball fundraisers you might be interested in, and how you can support our Falcons. All the proceeds go to benefit the SRHS baseball program:
1) SCRIPPS RANCH SPECIAL GUEST SPEAKERS PROGRAM
As a fundraiser, the SRHS Baseball Booster Club is sponsoring a monthly special speaker to come to Scripps Ranch. In January, the special guest speaker was the S.D. Padres Manager, Bud Black. Tickets are $10 (all proceeds go to the SRHS Baseball program), and it’s a great parent child opportunity. Check back for updates regarding future speakers. More Information
2) SCRIPPS RANCH BBC GOLF TOURNAMENT
On Sunday, April 11, 2010, the SRHS BBC will hold its annual Golf Tournament. This year’s tournament will be at the Double Tree Golf Resort. For golfers and non golfers, there are lots of great opportunities to form foursomes, donate prizes, sponsor holes, etc. This golf tournament is the SRHS BBC’s single largest fundraiser. PGA San Diego Invitational Golf Tournament Tickets.
3) SRLL DAY WITH THE FALCONS
During Spring Break, we will hold our 3rd annual SRLL Day with the SRHS Falcons! All SRLL players and parents are invited out for a game to watch the SRHS Falcons play. If your child has never seen a high school game, it is a must see … who knows, in a few years, it may be your son we are coming out to watch. For a small Donation (usually around $5.00), you get a nice fresh grilled lunch. This year, we are thinking about Carne Asada and Hot Dogs platters. Check back for date and time.
4) AS A WAY TO SAY THANKS TO SRLL PLAYERS
All SRLL players attending a SRHS home game in their uniform will get three snack bar items for the price of two. Schedules can be found by following the team links at our website @ www.srhsbbc.com.

Click on to start the on-line registration process. Any registrations completed after December 20th will only be accepted on a "space available" basis, and will be charged a $30 late fee (exception: registrations for Senior League and Big League will be accepted until March 31, 2010 without the late fee being applied). First-time players and players who are new to Scripps Ranch will need to submit proof of residency and age.
Player assessments for players age 8-12 (and 7 year olds who requested to play up in MAPs) will occur on January 9th (10-12 year olds and some 9 year olds) and January 16th (8-9 year olds and others requesting MAPs). Juniors assessments will be on the 6th. Registered players with an assessment on the 9th will receive an e-mail with information about their specific assessment time no later then January 2nd.
Seniors and New Big League Division
Late this spring, SRLL will offer Seniors and Big League Divisions. These are for player ages 14-18. These divisions' seasons begins immediately after the high school baseball season is over (middle to the end of May) and runs for about 6-8 weeks. They will be travel leagues within District 32 Little League and includes Tournament of Champions playoffs and All-Star competition.
Home games and practices will all be held at the Juniors Field at Community Park field #2 (CP-2). All players ages 15-16 registering are eligible to play Seniors and cannot play in the Juniors Division this season. Players that are 13 years old will play Juniors Division with 14 year-olds being the “swing” age that are eligible to play in either the Juniors Division or the Seniors Division. All players ages 16-18 are eligible to play in the Big League division.
In order to keep our Juniors Division competitive we are asking all 14 year-old players that are not interested or eligible to try-out for a high school team this coming spring to play Juniors. Those 14 year-olds trying out for a high school team will not be included in the original Juniors draft, instead they will be put into a pool until the make-up of the high school team is announced. Those players making their school high school team will be eligible to play Seniors Division, but not Juniors Division. In the event a player does not make a school team, they will be given the choice to play either Juniors or Seniors. Those players choosing to participate in Juniors will be put into a special supplemental draft and accordingly placed on a Juniors team.
If you have any questions please feel free to contact the Juniors/Seniors/Big League division representative.
Lost a hat? Need a warm jacket or sweatshirt for those cold evening games? Want to show your support of Scripps Ranch Little League? SRLL Spirit Wear - MLB hats, SRLL logo wind shirt jackets, sweatshirts and t-shirts - are available as a fundraiser to support the league. Please contact our uniform coordinator for information and size/style availability.
These items will not be available at the snack bars this year.
Lost and Found
If you lose/find an item at a game or practice, the first sources to try are teammates, coaches, and the storage shed at your field. Otherwise, check-for/turn-in the item at the Spring Canyon or Jerabek Park snack bar, which are open evenings and Saturdays during Spring season games.
