Board Meeting
The next board meeting for SCYA has been scheduled for December 8 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at St. James Church (in a classroom).

Select 12U Baseball Team Information
We are looking forward to another year of bringing better competition to our baseball program. We will be having a Select 12A team consisting of eleven and twelve year-olds playing in the Anne Arundel County Youth program along with a modified CBA program. We would also like to participate in a few local tournaments as well.
Any player who has a high skill set in baseball and may be interested in trying out for the Select 12A team for this Spring is strongly encouraged to participate in the Winter Workout Program we will be having at Extra Innings beginning in January.

Winter Sports Registrations -- UPDATED
It seems like fall sports just started, but we have to begin registering for the winter sports already. The county has once again moved up the deadlines on us. Registration is now open for the following winter sports.
We are now using an online registration system with the ability to pay via PayPal on a secure server. If you do not wish to use PayPal, you may mail payment to: South County Youth Association (SCYA), P.O. Box 42, Shady Side, MD 20764. Be sure to include your child's name and sport in the memo line of your check. Payment must be received within 7 days or your child's registration will be cancelled.

Boys Soccer Commissioner - Step up now and work with the current commissioner to learn the job during the spring season.

The next Youth Dance is Friday, January 8th from 7:00 to 10:00 pm.
