We have some very sad news to share with you regarding a family from our varsity team.
Dillion Voelker’s sister lost her battle with cancer this morning at 9AM. Many of you may not know this family’s story but they lost their father to cancer about six months ago. Sharlotte Voelker, the mother, is very concerned about the burial costs for her daughter. In an effort to alleviate some of this burden we are asking for donations to Sharp Funeral Home-C/O Sharlotte Voelker. Donations can be given to Amy Woodworth or Tracey Rigdon. Our Mission Statement
The Swartz Creek Youth Football and Cheerleading Program is set up for the purpose of teaching our youth how to be a part of a team as well as how to play the game of football or learn new cheers. We teach self-respect, pride, teamwork and discipline. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to play during practices and during games.
Our program consists of all volunteers who want to make the football season as enjoyable for the children and parents as possible. We have a very large organization and need as much participation and cooperation as possible from everyone involved!
We look forward to the upcoming 2008 season!
