Seekers to begin 2012-13 season Dec. 1
Dear Parents and Players,
The Seekers Field Hockey Club will begin its 2012-13 season Saturday, Dec. 1, in the Kendall Sports Complex at Mount Holyoke College in South Hadley.
All players will practice from 9:30 - 11:30. Dec. 31 is the age cut-off to determine age groups. Players are required to have sneakers (no cleats), mouth guard, shin guards and a stick. Goalies please bring your own equipment.
Players can register and pay (with a check) the day of the first practice. For players under the age of 18 years old, a signature from a parent or guardian will be required.
For insurance purposes, all players must join USA Field Hockey in order to participate. Please go to our Links section for the USA Field Hockey membership website. Please remember to bring the USA membership form.
The entry fee is $200 for U12 and U14 players, and $250 for U16 and U19 players. Tournament fees will be $10/player/tournament.
The program will emphasize skill development, conditioning, maximum effort, game tactics and good sportsmanship.

Longmeadow High School coach Ann Simons will coach the U16 and U19 players, while former Smith Academy coach Sherry Webb will coach the U12 and U14 players. East Longmeadow's Diane Lussier is the club coordinator.
Melina Lopez, who played on Argentina's national team, will serve as an assistant coach at the U16 and U19 level.
