Snack Bar:

NO OUTSIDE FOOD IS ALLOWED

We have a fully functioning snack bar – hot dogs, nachos, chips, water, sodas, sports drinks, coffee, donuts & assorted candies are some of the items we carry.

We ask that ice chests be kept to a bare minimum for the team players only; as we rely on sales from our snack bar to support our chapter & help pay for the referees.

Water is available for filling team water jugs. You will need to provide you own ice.

All ice chests are subject to search by either chapter officials or school district security on site.

Restrooms are located in the snack bar building.

THERE IS NO DRINKING OF ALCOHOL OF ANY KIND OR SMOKING ON A SCHOOL CAMPUS OR PARKING LOT.

1st turnout on the left past stadium. Parking is available in the lot in front of the stadium & lot by the gym.

Purple Helmet, Purple Jerseys, Black Pants

Field Passes: NO EXCEPTIONS

Only Coaches and staff members with current year field passes will be allowed onto the field with players.

Please advise chain gang volunteers, absolutely NO electronic devices, blue-tooth or cell phone usage on sidelines.

Scrimmage information..... All teams (except for the Midget team) will be having a scrimmage on Thursday, Sept 1st. The scrimmages will be at Shadow Hills,  during practice on the practice fields. It would be good idea to get there a little early.

Hello Knight Parents,

As we start the third week of organized practices, I hope all is going well and your players and cheerleaders are having fun.  I wanted to express a big thank you for your patience this weekend.  We were at the mercy of the conference and had little control over the logistics and delays.  The good news is we got through it and weigh-ins will be at Shadow Hills High School!!!!

 

Today the Micro’s will be split into a purple and a black team.  There will be lists on the fence and sign-in table indicating which team and field your player should report to.  We are excited to see how they both will do, as there is an abundance of talent in this division.     

 

Please have your players and cheerleaders hydrate before they get to the fields.  It will be a hot week!  It is going to be an exciting season and we will be playing games before we know it!!  Thanks and GO KNIGHTS!!!!!!

If you know anyone still wanting to play football we still have opening

for  7, 8, 9, 10, 11, year olds and 13 yr olds at 145 or under. 

Also for 13 -14 yr olds unlimited weight division 

We are having sign up each night of practice from 6-7pm at the sign up

table as you walk in the gates. 

So tell your friends that haven't sign up yet.

Afternoon Knights Families,

   Monday starts 5 days a week practices, 6-8 pm.   The first couple of days are always a little crazy.  Here is what to expect Monday.  Arrive early,  there will be a designated spot for you to check in by team.  Once you check in there will be a meeting spot for you to wait for your coach, it will be the grassy area by the entry gate.  All will be marked with signs.
   Once your team is checked in your coach will take you to the practice area.  We are using a different area the first week,  we are using the grass area over at DRA.  Parent viewing will be from the DRA black top area.
   Enter thru the regular gate to the practice field  and check in first.
We will also be doing new sign ups,  not many spots left this year so don't delay.
We cannot be on the regular practice field right now, please stay off.  Follow the posted signs.
Remain flexible and we will get thru this first crazy week. Bring plenty of water for your players and cheer leaders,  we probably will not have a snack bar the first week.  More updates to follow........

Conditioning Starts today at 6 pm.  DON'T FORGET to drink lots of Water today and bring LOTS of water with you to practice.  Conditioning is from 6-8 pm Tuesday and Thursday.  You will need to have a Physical before taking the field tonight. You do not need cleats for conditioning, if you want to wear them you can, but you don't have too. 

 

Alos we will be having sign-ups for Football and Cheer on Tuesday from 6-7 pm only, so if you haven't signed up yet and would like to please come sign up on Tuesday's 6-7pm during conditioning.

Check-in will be at 8am, Clinic will start at 9am, it will wrap up around 12 noon. 

Clinic cost is $20.00 (Cash Only) per child. This is a Fundraiser for the league and a great opportunity for your child to meet some Semi-Pro Football players and learn new football skills.  

This will also be a chance for you to sign up for the 2016 Football and Cheer season if you haven't already done so.  Looking forward to seeing you all out there on

 The registration fee will be $250 per player, with a $25 sibling discount starting with the third player.

There will also be "buy-out" options available for any family who does not want to work their required snack bar shift or participate in the annaul fund-raiser. SNACK BAR MANAGER 

The Snack Bar Manager shall be responsible for purchasing supplies and staffing the snack bar at all practice sessions and home games.

Responsible for coordinating with the Team Parent Director to ensure that each team is meeting there required snack bar manning responsibilities.    

Responsible for keeping accurate records of all financial transactions on a daily basis, and work closely with Chapter Treasurer to maintain an accurate bookkeeping system.

Responsible for providing a detailed financial report to the Board of Directors at each executive meeting during the months of operation.

Responsible for conducting normal business in the snack bar.

All non-food expenditures for the Shadow HillsSnack Bar must have prior approval by the Board of Directors and must be accompanied by a Shadow HillsPurchase Order which has been signed by the President and Treasurer.

The Snack Bar Manager, along with another Board Member, shall be responsible for a final count of the snack bar proceeds at the end of Saturday’s games.

A money drop shall be made at least once during each game.  (Money shall be removed from cash register, counted, placed in a sealed envelope, dated and signed by the snack bar manager and any other person designated by the Board of Directors)

The Saturday snack bar money shall be turned over to the Treasurer no later than the first practice following that Saturday’s games.

If the Treasurer is unavailable, the money shall be turned over to the President or the Vice President.

The snack bar money collected during the week shall be turned over to the Treasurer no later than the last practice of that week.
