The Silversmiths will be hosting their second annual golf tournament on June 24. It will be held at Barker Brook Golf Club in Oriskany Falls. More details coming soon.

The effects of Shortstop, Brendan Costantino's (Seton Hill University) record setting year continue to be felt.
"Tino" was named to the All NYCBL 1st Team this week after leading the NYCBL in hitting at a .417 clip, scoring 37 runs, and stealing a league record 63 stolen bases!!!
First year in NYCBL comes to a close

The Sherrill Silversmiths first year in the NYCBL came to a close on Sunday evening in front of a standing room only crowd at Noyes Park. The Smitties finished their first season of play with a record of 13-32 and 12-32 in league play.
The season was highlighted by a record setting season by Shortstop Brendan Costantion (R-Fr, Seton Hill University). "Tino" won the NYCBL batting title finishing with a .417 average, 37 runs scored, 63 hits, 22 rbis and an NYCBL league record 63 stolen bases!!
We would like to thank all of our loyal fans, volunteers, host families, interns, the City of Sherrill, Sherrill Little League, our sponsors, players and coaches for making our first year in the NYCBL one to remember. We look forward to seeing you back at Noyes Park in 2012 as we continue to make NOISE in the NYCBL!!!!!

You can now follow the Silversmiths during games live on the internet. There are now live internet radio broadcasts for all Silversmiths games that can found be visiting www.nycbl.com and clicking on the link for Teamline Radio. Then click on the Silversmiths link and listen to all the action live.
You can also stay up to date with the Silversmiths stats live during games with Pointstreak Live Stats. Simply go to www.nycbl.com click on the link for schedules and then find that nights game and follow us with live stats!!!
Silversmiths Unveil First Batch of Promotional Nights!!!

The Sherrill Silversmiths are pleased to announce the first batch of Promotional Nights this summer at Smitties' Home Games. They are as follows:
June 3 - VVS Little League Night/Wolf Country Radio - any VVS Little Leaguer, tee-ball, coach pitch, or youth softball player that shows up in uniform will be able to take the field before the game and get autographs and pictures with the Silversmiths at our Home Opener!! Also, in attendence will be radio personalities from Wolf Contry 105.1 doing give aways, prize wheels, and don't forget we'll be selling hot dogs for $1.05 until 6pm!!
June 8 - Wanderers Rest Pet Food Pantry Drive - Come out to the game and donate cat and dog food for Wanderers’ Rest to distribute to families that need help feeding their pets. Help them keep their pets at home and out of the shelter!
June 13 - $1 Massage Night/Markus' Mustache Monday - Come out and pay $1 per minute for a massage from licensed massage therapist Jess Evans from Body Works Massage Therapy!!! AND Calling all Mustaches!! Come out and honor the mustache with 3rd year Smittie Markus Delello and enter our Best Mustache of Night Competition!! The winning 'stache will be judged by Markus and the winner will get their picture taken and recieve and autographed baseball!
June 15 - Local Business Night - all local business owners are invited to bring there business cards to pass out, and all that do will recieve a free snack from the concession stand.
June 18 - Hawaiian Shirt Night - Hang ten with us, and wear your best hawaiian shirt to the game as we rock out to the sounds of the Beach Boys between innings, and anyone in a Hawaiian shirt gets a free drink at the concessions stand!!
June 22 - '80s Night - dress to impress in your best '80s garb!! Nothing but '80s music and memories all night!!
June 27 - School's Out for Summer Night - School just ended and we would love to see those end of the year grades!! Any child who brings there report card to the game will recieve something coooooool from the concession stand.
June 30 - "The Duff" plays all 9 in 9 Night - Come watch third year Smittie Dennis Duffy as he attempts to successfully play all 9 positions on the field in just 9 innings!!
July 3 - FREE Freedom Freezy Pops for the Fourth Night - Come out the park a day early and celebrate the Fourth of July with us and recieve a FREE freezy pop at the concession stand!!
July 13 - Golden Oldies Night - Come listen to the smooth soundies of the Oldies and get your picture taken with the team before the game!!
July 14 - Local Business Night - all local business owners are invited to bring there business cards to pass out, and all that do will recieve a free snack from the concession stand.

The Silversmiths are just months away from returing for their third season of action and debut season in the prestigious New York Collegiate Baseball League. The Smitties can provide the perfect opportunity for local businesses to reach new customers through advertising and sponsorship packages. Home Run Sponsorship Package: 250 Dollars
You receive:
• An eighth of a page ad in our season program
• Your businesses name on our list of Sponsors on our concession stand and our website
Grand Slam Sponsorship Package: 500 Dollars
You receive:
• A quarter of a page ad in our season program
• Your businesses logo on our front page of our website and your name on our list of sponsors on our Concession Stand
All-Star Sponsorship Package: 1000 Dollars
You receive:
• A full page ad in our season program
• Your businesses logo on our front page of our website and your name on our list of sponsors on our Concession Stand
• An inning of your choice; and at every home game you will be that innings sponsor
• You also be able to throw out the first pitch at a game of your choosing
MVP Sponsorship Package: 2000 Dollars or more
You receive:
• A full page ad in our season program
• Your businesses logo on our front page of our website and your name on our list of sponsors on our Concession Stand
• An inning of your choice; at every home game you will be that innings sponsor, OR Each Pitching Change; at every home game you will be each pitching changes sponsor, OR Each Foul Ball, at every home game you will be each foul ball’s sponsor for 3 Innings
• You get to choose a game of your choice and you will be that game’s main sponsor, your name will be announced as that games main sponsor at the top of each inning and you can come and promote your business during the game
Smitties establish the "Feed the Silversmiths" program and are looking for your help
This summer we are making an attempt to "Feed the Silversmiths" after each home game. We are asking any parents, community members, or fans that would like to make a home cooked meal for the approximate 30 players, coaches, and staff to come forward and become a part of the Silversmith family!
Many of our player come from across the country to play in Sherrill and do not have the opportunity for a home cooked meal throughout their summer in Sherrill. Therefore we are establishing the "Feed the Silversmiths" program.
