Sac North Soccer Club is pleased to announce that online registration will open Friday, May 17, 2013.
We realize that our Natomas soccer community has been bombarded with conflicting messages over the last few weeks. We apologize for any confusion, whatever the source. Please be assured that SNSC recreational youth soccer is dedicated to providing the same quality soccer experience we have the past several years. For those who have heard conflicting reports, we offer a brief summary of our position and vision:
- Sac North Soccer Club is solely a recreational soccer club. We exist to develop love of the game, sportsmanship, and skills while having fun and promoting community. All of our efforts are directed at achieving these goals for our children.
- SNSC is proud to be a member of Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) and will use these principles to build a truly positive culture, on and off the field.
- SNSC is committed to working with CYSA to provide our traditional soccer experience.
- We are exploring supplemental playing options, such as US Club, to provide additional play for teams that desire it. These options are recreational soccer only.
- All practices will be held on our SNSC home fields in North Natomas.
- All players will receive their own ball and practice t-shirt, included with registration. Uniforms will remain the same for games.
- All teams will receive soccer training equipment, including agility gear.
- All coaches will have the opportunity to participate in additional trainings and clinics throughout the season.
- We will be partnering with British Challenger to provide all new coaches with additional help and instruction as needed.
After looking at last year’s finances, we were able to reduce fees while offering additional services. Registration will be $100/player but early bird registration will be $90/player through the end of May. There are family discounts as well. Online registration will continue through the end of June. We will offer several on-site registration events for those who prefer that choice. We apologize for rescheduling our Soccer-Fest registration event, but CYSA felt it necessary to give all parties additional time to come to an agreement. Soccer-Fest is now scheduled for June 1st. We look forward to seeing you there.
