Jeff Marjamaa has been kind enough to produce a spreadsheet of the statistics from 2005-2008. We can now update this each year to reflect "career" numbers. I will look to see what I can dig up from previous years as many times I saved them on a file if they are still on a computer in Menahga.
Schedule Changes
Please check back to look at the schedule as there are changes from time to time:
The game vs. Nimrod scheduled for Thurs. 7/2 has been canceled.
The game vs. Red Eye on 5/17 has been moved to Friday, July 3rd in Menahga. They wanted to play a night game rather than their home game in Red Eye.
The Staples game has been rescheduled for Friday, July 17th in Menahga with an 8:30 start.

Wozniak & Lusti named Baseball Players of the Week
Horizon League awards go to Milwaukee fi rst baseman & pitcher
INDIANAPOLIS – University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee seniors Shawn Wozniak and Brad Lusti have
been named Horizon League Baseball Players of the Week for the period of April 6-12.
A native of Menahga, Minn., Lusti notches Pitcher of the Week honors after fi ring eight scoreless innings
on Friday against Wright State. He allowed just two bases on balls and three hits while striking out nine
for the Panthers.
Lusti is now 3-0 with a 1.85 ERA in three League starts this season. The right-hander has allowed just
four walks while striking out 21 in 24.1 innings during the stretch.
Milwaukee improved to 12-17 overall and 6-3 in conference action with fi ve consecutive wins last week.
The Panthers swept Chicago State University in a doubleheader on Tuesday and Wright State in a
three-game weekend series.
Milwaukee returns to action on Tuesday when it travels to the University of Minnesota at 4 p.m. ET.
Welcome to the Home of the Midway Snurdbirds
The Midway Snurdbirds are members of the Minnesota Baseball Association and play in the Lake and Pine North League.
The 'Birds have a rich tradition that hopes to continue with the 2009 version of the squad.
Past State Tournament appearances:
1972, 1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990, 1991, 1994, 1995, 2005, and 2008
Midway has only missed the regional tournament twice in the last 30 years (2003 and 2004)
We have a lot more games scheduled in Midway and Menahga this year so come out to the ballpark and support your local boys of summer!

We also hold a golf tournament each year at Blueberry Pines where your business can sponsor a hole. All help is appreciated and the money goes towards paying for umpires, field maintenance, equipment, and hopefully some travel costs for tournaments.
