South Georgia Warriors 2010 National Champion
PALM BOWL
Palm Bowl IV was the highest scoring and most exciting game of the weekend. The lead changed 6 times during the course of the game. The lead actually changed 4 times in the 4th quarter. Grand Rapids got on the board first with a 29 yd. field goal. So Georgia responded with a 16 yd. TD pass and the halftime score was 6 to 3. Two TD passes by Grand Rapids in the 3rd quarter had them back in the lead. South Georgia then scored on 2 TD passes early in the 4th quarter to regain the lead. Grand Rapids scored again with 5:53 left in the game. South Georgia picked up the final score with 1:56 left in the game.

What a season it has been for the South Georgia Warriors. Here again we remain the number 1 team in Georgia by no doubt. We have played in two leagues that's combined with extremely talentive players throughout the Quad states surrounding Georgia.
In the past 3 years we hold a record of 42 - 3, which we have now claimed first South Division Championship in the SEAFL and first SEAFL Championship. Just last saturday (Aug,15) we accomplished our second South Divison Championship playing in the USFL.
