WELCOME TO SOUTHLAKE FASTPITCH

Formed over thirty years ago, the Southlake Girls Softball Association has become one of the most successful sports associations in Tarrant County solely dedicated to the female athlete.  Hundreds of girls come out each year to play softball with skill levels ranging from beginner (4 years) to pre-college Gold select (18 years). The objective of our association is to provide a safe, informative, social and enjoyable experience to anyone who plays the game.

The softball complex at Bob Jones Park is the home of the softball association in Southlake. The Bob Jones complex is well known throughout the country as one of the premier facilities for fast pitch softball. Amenities include six playing fields, four batting cages equipped with Jugs batting machines, full concession stand, covered bleachers and dugouts, covered playground, lighted warm-up areas, fishing ponds, and nature trails Additionally, a state-of-the-art lightning detection system and police department monitored surveillance system make our complex a safe place for all ages.

Players of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to give this great game a try…spring or fall! Moms and Dads are always needed as coaches, assistant coaches, team moms, or to help with the administration of the league. Anyone with questions should call our phone number at 817-442-1555 or e-mail us at Mail@sgsa.org.

Shout Out for Roni Ovarian Cancer Benefit Golf Tournament

Hosted by the Southlake Girls Softball Association and the Fort Worth Batbusters

Join us to help support the effort to raise awareness and promote education about this little known disease. The
2009 Golf Tournament will benefit the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition in honor of Roni Lemos, the mother of Batbusters player Alyssa Lemos, who passed away from ovarian cancer in 2008. Ovarian cancer is called the silent killer due to subtle and confusing symptoms and the lack of early detection tests.
