End of the Spring 2011 Season - Undefeated Champions!!

We are at the end of our Spring 2011 CJBL season. We completed the season in first place with an 9-0 record
In the playoff round, we defeated Bedminster 10-0 in order to advance to the Championship round.
In a repeat of past years, we again played South Brunswick for the Championship of the 14U National League division. Overcoming some early struggles in the game, we were victorious with a 12-4 win over the Vikings, finishing the season undefeated. Congratulations to all the boys!!

We look to continue our success in 2011 and are currently looking at various options for league play this year. Winter training will be scheduled shortly and more information is coming soon!
Update - Winter training will begin at Extra Innings in Cranbury starting on Monday Feb 7th at 6:00PM. Please arrive a few minutes early to be ready to start on time. Opening day looks to be the last weekend in March!
2010 North Edison Summer Tournament

To begin the 2010 tournament season, we have entered the North Edison Summer Tournament this year. A new tournament for us, we look to have continued success in local tournaments. Look for updates shortly...
Update - We are in the championship game! We will play South Plainfield in the final game on monday 7/12/2010.
South Plainfield took the Championship in a well played game.
2010 Spring Central Jersey Travel League - National Division

Central Jersey Spring Travel League opened up on Sunday, March 28th, 2010.
Home games will probably be played at Appleby School. Games are every Sunday and times will be determined weekly. See the schedule at the bottom of this page.
The Spotswood Chargers are playing in the National Division.

Update - The team finished the Spring season with a 6-2 record and advanced to the Championship game held on Sunday 6/20/2010 against South Brunswick. South Brunswick took the title. Spotswood finished in second place.
2009 Central Jersey Fall Travel Baseball League

Spotswood Chargers played 50/70 in the Central Jersey Travel Baseball league this past fall. They finished in 2nd place with a 6-1 record.

The Spotswood Chargers Travel Baseball team is a group of young players that have been playing together for several years in various tournaments and leagues throughout Central New Jersey.
Over the years these kids have made it to 8 championships and have won 4, including the 2011 CJBL spring travel league championship.
As of 06/23/11 they have compiled a record of 81-34-1 (.698).
Central Jersey Travel -11U 46/60 Spring 2008 CHAMPS

The Spotswood Chargers 11U 46/60 Travel Baseball team captured the 2008 Central Jersey Travel Baseball League Championship on Sunday, June 15th at East Brunswick. With a strong defense, superb pitching and some timely hitting they were able to defeat a very strong South Brunswick team 2-1. South Brunswick had captured the spring 10u championship last year and was looking to make it 2 in a row before they ran into a determined Charger team. Spotswood avenged their only spring loss with the win in the championship and finished their spring travel season with an 9-1 record.
