Our indoor tournament date has been set for Feb. 28th & Mar. 1st, 2015 at the Omaha Sports Complex (14706 Giles Rd.) @ 144th & Giles, Omaha,NE!
Last year's tourney was an incredible success. We had teams from 5 states and many came a long way to enjoy some softball indoors! Hopefully we can reach out to a few more teams and states this year?
We are looking forward to another huge turnout! Games start on Saturday 8am-11pm and will run thru Sunday night 8am-9pm.
Entry fee this year will be $415 per team and we will have divisions for
10U, 12U, 14U, 16U/18U(HS division) (Min. of 4 teams per division). Pitching distances will be 10U- 35', 12U- 40', 14U- 43', 16U/18U(HS)- 43'.
Jugs "Softie" brand flex balls provided for each game.
Regular hardballs are not allowed in facility. 3 game guarantee. 2 pool games into a single elim. tourney that begins on Sunday.
Seedings will be determined from pool play for single elim. tourney as follows: 1) Record 2)Head to Head (only if 2 teams are tied, if 3 teams tied will go to runs allowed) 3) Runs allowed 4) Runs scored 5) Coin Flip
Pool games can end in a tie, bracket games will need a winner and follow tie breaker rules on rules sheet.
60 min. time limits with no new inning starting with less than 5 mins. remaining. See official rules below.
If you know of any teams interested please give them our website address and encourage them to register! These are "one-of-a-kind" tourneys in the region so don't miss out!
Our flyer and registration form are attached to copy, fill out and mail back to enter. Please include your form and registration fee to hold your spot! The tourneys will fill by December and we have to limit the amount of teams so enter early! Last year we were full by December so plan accordingly and reserve your spot today.
PARKING LOT IS ALWAYS VERY FULL! PLEASE CARPOOL WHENEVER POSSIBLE TO AVOID SOME OF THE PARKING ISSUES. DO NOT PARK WHERE "NO PARKING" SIGNS ARE POSTED OR ON GILES ROAD AS THEY WILL TOW YOUR VEHICLES.
COACHES- Please note you will be required to provide the following at check in (front entry) before 1st game:
1)Team roster- form below if needed. You can use your own roster form.
2)All players participating fill out a liability waiver below. Print out, make players/parents sign.
3)Provide copy of team/individual insurance. Any affiliation insurance will be accepted.
**Please read rules sheet below as there has been a revision on balls hitting ceiling.
REFUND POLICY: If a team pulls out of tournament after Jan. 1st they will receive 50% of entry fee back and after Feb. 1st will receive no refund.
If weather is an issue, cancellation decision will be made 2 days in advance as facility requires 48 hrs. notice by us to cancel.
If tourney is not played due to weather issue before the 48 hr. cancellation- $330 of entry fee returned.
Once facility is confirmed within 48 hrs. of event or any games are played- no refunds as facility requires payment.
