Small Soccer News:
Field lining and set-up responsibilities are posted in the "Coaches" section. Please note your scheduled date. Coaches may swap dates but must email the U6 Coordinator, otherwise you'll be contacted regarding your responsibilities on a date that you have switched to another coach.
As coaches you have a concern with your players arriving on time; particularly when you have a game scheduled. The trainers have a like concern when coaches do not arrive on time for their training session. There is, I'm sure, a multiplicity of good reasons why any one coach may be late or not attend. However, when a number of coaches arrive late, it indicates some lack of commitment to that aspect of our program. Please do your very best to arrive on time. Have an assistant coach for your team (or two) and invite them to attend the sessions. There should be no reason why your team is not represented at training.
Please contact your coordinator with any question or concerns you may have regarding the foregoing.
We would like some digital pictures of this seasons Squirt players. Please send pictures to Rdizozza@optonline.net.
The Massapequa Soccer Club is a volunteer organization that provides the children of Massapequa with a place to have fun and learn soccer skills. As with all volunteer organizations, there are never enough volunteers. Please offer your time and assistance when you register your children for the upcoming season. And once the season begins, please support your child's team by attending all practices and games. Please do not let the team or the volunteer coach down..
THANKS!!
Coaches,
On behalf of Paul and myself, we would like to thank all of you for giving your time and effort to the children of Massapequa. Without you, the joy these boys and girls experienced would not be possible!
Thanks, again!
Eric Brown U-6 Coordinator
