ABOUT Seneca SA VENOM: The Venom won seven championships since forming at the beginning of 2009 –including an NCSL divisional title in Fall, 2011 (9-0-1).
The Venom enjoy year-round competitive soccer while learning the skills, tactics, and sportsmanship required to make them a better team, better players, and better individuals.
This team demonstrated that if you work hard and you’re dedicated, great things can happen. These young men are challenged using the 4 pillars of soccer (Technical Tactical, Physical, and Psychological) to promote a positive, competitive and fun environment so players can grow to become stronger players and teammates. The team's emphasis will continue to be on an attacking style of "possession" soccer that requires technical skill, tactical smarts, and a high level of focus, dedication, and passion for the game. In short . . . "the beautiful game."

PRESIDENTS CUP
Venom will participate in the 2012 Presidents Cup. The Presidents Cup is a single elimination tournament with all games scheduled to be played over three consecutive weekends in April (schedule below- see note about Memorial Weekend). We will only play one Cup match per day. All games except the finals are scheduled to be played at Cedar Lane Regional Park in Harford County. The finals will be held at the Maryland SoccerPlex. This event provides players an opportunity to compete against teams from across the east coast at a high level for the joy and the challenge of the game.
The Presidents Cup Draw is held on Saturday March 3rd, 12:00pm. Please continue to check the MSYSA website (www.msysa.org) for the Presidents Cup draw and schedule information.
Game will be played in accordance with the below schedule. 1st Round: Saturday & Sunday, April 14 or 15, Semi-Finals: Saturday & Sunday, April 21 or 22 Location: Cedar Lane Regional Park, Harford County
State Final: Saturday, April 28 (if qualify); Location: SoccerPlex
Rain Dates: Saturday-Sunday, April 28-29, 2012 & Saturday-Sunday, May 5-6, 2012
Region I Presidents Cup (If qualify): May 25 – May 28; Location: Londonderry, New Hampshire July 11 – July 15: US Youth Soccer National President Cup - Sacramento, California FUNDRAISER: The Team is already working on fundraisers in the event that we advance to the Regional's or beyond.

SUMMER TEAM CAMP (GOLDEN GOAL SOCCER CAMP)
This Venom (High School/ Fall Club Prep) camp takes place at the Soccerplex on August 6-10. Please schedule your vacation around this date. If you have already scheduled a trip, please select another camp. It is strongly encouraged that every player attend at least one soccer camp.

Make the Difference Short Film - TMB Panyee
This short film was made to inspire people to start thinking differently. It doesn't have to be big, but a little can create positive changes. This film is based on a true story. In 1986 a football team that lived on a little island in the south of Thailand called "Koh Panyee". It's a floating village in the middle of the sea that has not an inch of soil. The kids here loved to watch football but had nowhere to play or practice. But they didn't let that stop them.
