Welcome to the Home of the Seneca Soccer Association (SSA) Venom 97
ABOUT Seneca SA VENOM: The Venom won seven championships since forming at the beginning of 2009 –including an NCSL divisional title in Fall, 2011 (9-0-1).
The Venom enjoy year-round competitive soccer while learning the skills, tactics, and sportsmanship required to make them a better team, better players, and better individuals.
This team demonstrated that if you work hard and you’re dedicated, great things can happen. These young men are challenged using the 4 pillars of soccer (Technical Tactical, Physical, and Psychological) to promote a positive, competitive and fun environment so players can grow to become stronger players and teammates. The team's emphasis will continue to be on an attacking style of "possession" soccer that requires technical skill, tactical smarts, and a high level of focus, dedication, and passion for the game. In short . . . "the beautiful game."

SENECA SOCCER ASSOCIATION ANNOUNCES MERGER WITH MARYLAND RUSH
The Seneca Soccer Association has merged with Maryland Rush and Rush Soccer, one of the most respected soccer organizations in the country. Seneca will become the only soccer club in Montgomery County to be associated with the Rush soccer organization, which has over 40 member clubs all across the United States and the world. As part of its membership, Seneca players will be eligible to participate in a variety of Rush activities, including Rush tournaments, a Player Loan program, a specific College Assistance Program, and the annual Rush Fest which brings together Rush teams from all across the country. As a result of this partnership our new club name will be Maryland Rush Montgomery Nike.
Maryland Rush fields boys and girls U9-U19 travel teams playing in the NCSL, WAGS, Region 1 Colonial League, Region 1 Premier League and the USL Super Y-League.
Rush Soccer was formed in 2002 under the leadership of the Colorado Rush Soccer Club in order to broaden the scope of its proven coaching, player development and administrative methodologies to a national level. By affiliating with qualified soccer clubs throughout the United States, Rush Soccer uses personnel, technical and intellectual property exchanges to create efficiencies through economies of scale, promote player, coach and tournament exchanges, develop proprietary information technology applications, provide administrative and technical consulting, streamline branding opportunities and maximize potential for fundraising and sponsorship support.
Rush Soccer's primary objective is to develop a national level club cooperative system that offers substantial opportunities for national corporate sponsorship and foundation support, provides the framework for a national coach and player development network, and will serve a significant centralized pool of talent for consideration by European, MLS, NCAA, US National and Olympic soccer programs.

Make the Difference Short Film - TMB Panyee
This short film was made to inspire people to start thinking differently. It doesn't have to be big, but a little can create positive changes. This film is based on a true story. In 1986 a football team that lived on a little island in the south of Thailand called "Koh Panyee". It's a floating village in the middle of the sea that has not an inch of soil. The kids here loved to watch football but had nowhere to play or practice. But they didn't let that stop them.
END OF SEASON TEAM ACTIVITIES/ PARTY
ACTIVITIES ARE AS FOLLOWS: 1. DC United game w/ pre-match tailgate party 2. Shadowland Lazer Tag followed by Pool Party at Lofgren's home
