CATS Tryouts 2015
Tryouts for the CATS program will be at the following times:
Sunday February 22nd at Stevens College:
Clothing - PLEASE WEAR A SHIRT WITH A NUMBER
U11/U10 & U12 - 9:30am-11:30am
U13 & U14 - 12:00-2:00pm
9th Grade - 2:30-4:30
Players will tryout out for the age that they fall in based on the chart below. There are 3 courts at Stevens College, so 2 tryouts will occur at the same time. U11 & U10 will tryout together. If there are enough players for a separate teams, we will have both a U11 and a U10.
We will have evaluators at each tryout and we will make decisions on teams at the end of the day for all teams. Players will receive an email and parents will have to decide on accepting the spot offered right away. If you have no intention of accepting a spot on a team, please do not attend the tryouts. We went to this policy last year because there are other teams offering spots and we do not want to hold up players from accepting spots on other teams.
Our program is the only Lancaster based program that has been around for the last 15+ years and we believe that our program is the best PROGRAM in the area, but we respect that parents and players have to make choices they think are best for their family. We are only here to provide an opportunity to improve on the court and in life. The CATS program emphasizes learning basketball the proper way. We teach FUNDAMENTALS, we teach TEAM play, we teach proper ATTITUDE and we expect players to feel as though they are part of a FAMILY - the CATS Family.
You must pre-register by clicking on the tryout form in the top corner of the home page. Any questions can be directed to Rich Hinnenkamp at email@example.com.
TRYOUTS FOR 10th & 11th GRADE:
Tryouts for the 10th grade and 11th grade will be announced at a later date. If you are interested in trying out for one of these teams, please register online. We wait until the HS season is over before we bring these players in for tryouts.
