The Snoqualmie Valley Wrestling Club is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of wrestling. Our dedicated coaching staff uses many techniques to teach the fundamentals of Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling. Coaches work with wrestlers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, to help them become the some of the best athletes in their age and weight classes in the state of Washington. In addition to wrestling, the club gears its efforts to teaching these young athletes and their families the importance of respect, the value of confidence in oneself and in others, and how to handle success and failure in competition.

WSWA FOLKSTYLE STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Twenty-Six SVWC wrestlers made the trip to the Tacoma Dome on Sunday February 17, 2013 to compete in the WSWA Folkstyle State Championship to wrestle some of the toughest wrestlers in Washington. Congratulations to State Champion Carlos Toledano. In addition to a state champion, SVWC had eleven top-eight finishes. Ian Chavez of Snoqualmie, age 10, earned a 2nd place finish in the Intermediate 65 division, Spencer Marenco of North Bend, age 11, earned a 2nd place finish in the Novice 85 division, Tryon Kaess of Snoqualmie, age 9, earned a 3rd place finish in the Intermediate 55 division, Chance Hanson of Snoqualmie, age 5, earned a 3rd place finish in the PeeWee 38 division, Jacob Inton of Issaquah, age 9, earned a 4th place finish in Intermediate 95 division, Jason Good of Issaquah, age 8, earned a 6th place finish in the Intermediate 50, Dawson Schneider of North Bend, age 9, earned a 7th place finish in the Intermediate 75 division, Charles Grant Finney of North Bend, age 9, earned a 7th place finish in the Intermediate 87 division, Mark Marum of North Bend, age 10, earned a 7th place finish in the Novice 60 division, Hayden Jeans of Snoqualmie, age 14, earned an 8th place finish in the Cadet 94 division and Carson Hoffine of Easton, age 14, earned an 8th place finish in the Cadet 113 division.

2013 WWKWL NOVICE LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIPS
SVWC sent eighteen wrestlers to Arlington, WA on January 20, 2013 to compete in the WWKWL Novice League Championships. Charles Grant Finney and Jacob Inton both finished the day with individual league titles.

2013 OREGON CLASSIC
The weekend of January 19, 2013 ten SVWC wrestlers made the trip to Redmond, OR to compete at the 2013 Oregon Classic. The Oregon Classic is one of the largest wrestling tournaments in the Northwest drawing nearly 1,000 participants from 174 clubs spanning 6 states. This year SVWC had eleven wrestlers qualify for this tournament. SVWC would like to congratulate Tryon Kaess of Snoqualmie, age 9, who earned a 2nd place finish in the Intermediate 60 division, Ian Chavez of Bellevue, age 9, who earned a 3rd place finish in the Intermediate 65 division and Carson Hoffine of Easton, age 14, who earned a 3rd place finish in the Cadet 113 division.
