Player registration for the 2013 Sayrewoods South Men's League (SWSML) is in progress at this time and the league is actively seeking new players age 30 years old and up. SWSML Details:The registration fee for all new players for the season will be $270.00. This fee includes 21 games from the end of May through the end of August. We play two times a week for roughly ten weeks either Monday through Friday night at 6:30pm and/or Saturday at 9am, 12pm or 3pm. 90% of the games will be played at Geick Park in Old Bridge which is a premier field with lights and a synthetic grass infield. The other games will be played at either Waterfront Park in Sayreville or Phillips Park in Old Bridge. Three rounds of playoffs are included (best of three, best of five and best of five) starting the Tuesday after Labor Day and going through the middle of October. Included in the fee is field fees, umpires, baseballs, equipment for the team, a picnic for players and their families (date to be determined), trophies to the 1st place winners and jackets to the winners of the playoffs. Not included in the registration fee is a uniform or bat. This year's tryout will be held Saturday April 20th at Geick Park. All new players must tryout and be drafted on a team. The league consists of 8 teams with 16 players on each team.
