SPRING 2013 REGISTRATION INFO
 

--Registration Dates at the Red house (behind Seneca Middle school)

Sunday Jan 27th 10am - 11:30

--At Wenonah elementary school in the gym on Monday Jan 28 from 6:30 - 8pm

  Feb 4th 6:30 - 8pm, // Feb 11th 6:30 -8pm  or

--Register on-line,

--SYAG Provides helmets and shoulder pads with a $100 deposit

--New players will receive game shorts which they keep. All new players will be giving a team jersey which will be returned at the end of the season.

--Each SYAG team will have a speed & aglity clinic with Dominant Natural Athletics

--Two practices a week. Plus an 8 game season playing in the police athletic league. (4 home games/4 away games) Prek - 1st will play all games at Grundy.

--We do not force you to sell anything or buy anything

--All of our coaches have experience with the game and with children.

About SYAG Lacrosse and what we offer:
--SYAG is proud to offer the residents of Sachem a quality lacrosse program deigned to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse to children ages pre-k through 6th grade. We pride ourselves on giving Sachem a program that emphasizes fair play, sportsmanship, dedication, and the fundamentals it takes to make a strong well rounded player
--SYAG Lacrosse prides itself on teaching the fundamentals of lacrosse, while allowing the children to have fun and make new friends.
--SYAG Lacrosse runs a Pre-k thru 1st grade boys lacrosse league that allows the tiniest and youngest lacrosse players the opportunity to learn the game and play instructional games against surrounding town teams their own age. All games are played at Grundy Elementary school.
--SYAG offer a Winter Lax Clinic for Pre-K thru 1st Grade, at KK Athletics an indoor facility on turf. It is once a week starting in December on Thursday nights from 6:30-7:30pm.
--SYAG kids Grade 2nd thru 6th play in the Police Athletic League (PAL) against teams with in Suffolk county. They will have four home games at Seneca Middle School & four away games. They will also play in some local tournaments.

--SYAG Grades 2nd thru 6th also play in a indoor winter lacrosse league and will practice throughout the winter to prepare for the spring season.
--SYAG coaches and have been involved with lacrosse for many years, either as players at the college level or coaches. The staff is firmly committed to building our players self-esteem and helping them to have FUN! We are also committed to teaching the following:
--BASIC FUNDAMENTALS: Passing, Catching Cradling, Scooping, Offense & Defense Skills
--SPORTSMANSHIP: Stressing the importance of Sportsmanship and Fair Play, key elements that are often overlooked.
--SACHEM PRIDE: SYAG Lacrosse is extremely proud to represent Sachem. We instill Sachem Pride in all our players from their helmet decals to the jerseys they wear. SYAG Lacrosse is proud to involve both Sachem North and Sachem East into our program. As far as we?re concerned? there may be two high schools, but only one district, SACHEM.
