Welcome to the SYAG Saints website. SYAG is proud to offer the residents of Sachem a quality lacrosse program deigned to teach the fundamentals of lacrosse to children ages pre-k through 8th grade. We pride ourselves on giving Sachem a program that emphasizes fair play, sportsmanship and dedication over winning.
Our coaches and volunteers have been involved with lacrosse for many years, either as players or coaches. The staff is firmly committed to building our players self-esteem and helping them to have FUN! We are also committed to teaching the following:
BASIC FUNDAMENTALS: Passing, Catching Cradling, Scooping, Offense & Defense Skills
SPORTSMANSHIP: Stressing the importance of Sportsmanship and Fair Play, key elements that are often overlooked.
SACHEM PRIDE: SYAG Lacrosse is extremely proud to represent Sachem. We instill Sachem Pride in all our players from their helmet decals to the jerseys they wear. SYAG Lacrosse is proud to involve both Sachem North and Sachem East into our program. As far as we’re concerned… there may be two high schools, but only one district, SACHEM.
