Interested in Coaching for SYFL???
Coaches will be voted on at all levels from micro c's to Sr.s. Please email or send a letter if you are interested in coaching. Stonington expects a great deal from their head coaches. It is a big undertaking, but a rewarding one. If interested, please send an email/letter to Jimmy Moore at fantasyking4545@yahoo.com or attend the Board Meeting on May 16th at 8pm at the Stonington Police Station. All letters are due by May 16th.

The Registration Fees are:
1 Child $65
2 Child $40
Max/Family $125
NOTE: All fees will be increased by $20 after 4/22/2012
NOTE: All players/parents are required to participate in fundraising and concession duties to support the league.

NOTE: The 2012 Physical Form will need to be completed and signed by your physician by Aug 1st.
NOTE: If you are a new TACKLE participant, please send a copy of your birth cirtificate along with your registration forms. Please do not send the original birth cirtificate.
Practice starts August 1st. Letters will be sent out to all participants during the summer with more information.

Football Age and Weight Requirements
Ages** = 5-6-7
Min-Max Weights = N/A
Division = Flag (no tackle)
Ages** = 7-8-9
Min-Max Weights = Max 100 lbs*
Division = Micro B
Ages** = 9-10-11
Min-Max Weights = Max 100 lbs*
Division = Micro A
Ages** = 9-10-11-12-13
Min-Max Weights = Max 125 lbs*
Division = Junior
Ages** = 11-12-13-14
Min-Max Weights = Max 180 lbs*
Division = Senior
* Weights are subject to change
**Cheerleading age groups are NOT the same as above
**Child’s age as of December 31st is their age for the season
**All players must be in 8th grade or less to participate
Registration Fees:

Note: Cheerleaders will be responsible for additional costs as the purchase of sneakers and miscelaneous items are required.

Welcome to the home site for the Stonington Youth Football League (SYFL). We offer football and cheerleading programs for children ages 5-14. We work to provide a safe and fun enviroment for the children of Stonington and the surrounding areas to learn the aspects of this sport that will help them stay healthy and fit while enjoying a sense of participation and community!
