 Glendora High School Baseball Camp

 For All Incoming Freshman Players

Date: June 11th thru 14th

Time: 4:00 pm – 6:00pm

Cost: 125.00 per player

The camp is designed to develop baseball skills along with health awareness and the importance of fitness for all athletes. Players will work on offensive and defensive drills just like Glendora High School players. There will also be video analysis of individual players to help understand proper mechanics and fundamentals.

Former Tartans College and Pro Updates
May 20, 2013

 

 Last week's (May 13-19) results of our former Tartan players.


Adam Plutko (2010): UCLA pitcher received no decision in the Bruins 2-1 win over rival USC.  Adam threw six innings, giving up just four hits, one run, while striking out four and walking three.


Cody Regis (2009): UCLA second baseman went 1-12 with three RBIs and two walks in a loss to Cal State Fullerton and the sweep of the USC Trojans.


Woody Woodward (2010): UC Santa Barbara second baseman was 6-20, six RBIs, five runs, one walk two stolen bases in games against Washington State, Loyola Marymount and Pacific.


Joe Winterburn (2010): UC Santa Barbara catcher was 1-3 with a double and one walk for the Gauchos who went 4-1 for the week.


Jacob Smigelski (2010): UC Riverside pitcher is out for the remainder of the season with an injury.


Clinton Harwick (2010): Point Loma University shortstop season is completed.


Nicholas Cooksey (2011): Cal Poly Pomona second baseman season is completed.


Brennan Salgado (2011): Cal Poly Pomona catcher/first baseman season is completed


Nick Wagner (2011): Cal Poly Pomona second baseman season is completed.


Sean Beckman (2011): University of La Verne pitcher season is completed.


Michael Gonzales (2010): Rio Hondo College pitcher season is completed.


Matthew Sampson (2012): Citrus College pitcher season completed.


Jacob Cage (2010): Azusa Pacific University pitcher season is completed.


Also, Coach Ryan Henley, second baseman at Azusa Pacific University season is completed.


Tartan pro players:

David Harris (2005) outfielder for the Florence Freedom was 3-12, two RBIs, one HR and one run in the opening series of the season against the River City Rascals. 

Wes Roemer (2004) pitcher for the St. Paul Saints threw seven innings of shut out ball.  Gave up only three hits and struck out seven to go 1-0 on the season, defeating the New Jersey Jakals 5-1.

John Alexander (2011) will start his season later this spring.

 

2010 CIF Championship Season Videos
April 17, 2013

Dave Petteruto from On Screen Productions passed on the videos of that magical 2010 season.  The games include the first round versus Peninsula, the quarter-finals versus Valencia, the semi-finals versus Mira Costa that featured Jacob Smigelski's walk of HR and the championship game against Yucaipa.  Please go to left hand tool bar and click on "Bulletin Board" to view...thank you Dave and we hope you can make it to some of our games and hopefully spread that mojo to this year's team!
