Bees win ENYTB division crown

In game one, with the score tied at two, the Athletics scored six runs in the sixth inning to pick up the win.

For the Bees, Matt Gage and T.J. Lane each picked up RBI's in the third inning when Gage doubled and Lane singled to plate Gage. Lane and Corey Caswell each had two hits on the day as Dave Gage, Art Levenson and Jeffrey Brooks all picked up singles.

Zach Griesche held Capital City at bay for five innings allowing two runs, one earned. Griesche started the sixth with two walks before handing the ball over to Matt Gage who struck out the first batter he faced. After a sacrifice fly and a walk the Bees committed two errors allowing the Athletics to break the game open. Griesche finished the game throwing five innings allowing four runs on four hits and walked five while striking out six. Gage tossed an inning allowing no earned runs and struck out two. Levenson finished the game giving up two hits and no runs.

In game two, the Bees jumped on the board early and often as they scored 13 runs. A double, stolen base, and a wild pitch in the first inning allowed Caswell to score the first run. For the game, Nick Davoulas had three hits pacing the Bees offense.
