2009 Track and Field Season
The information meeting has been rescheduled for Tues, March 10th from 6:30-7:30 at Lafayette High School.
Team Flash, founded by Bernard Canady in 1999, is entering it's 11th year as Williamsburg's youth track and field club.
Team Flash welcomes girls and boys, ages 7-16 who are interested in track and field to become members of our team. We practice on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 5:30 until 7:00pm at the Lafayette High School track.
Team Flash strives to teach the basics of track and field while striving to achieve general fitness as well as skill development. We emphasize sportsmanship, developing friendships and having FUN.
Athletes are exposed to age appropriate events including sprints, distance running, relays, hurdles, shot put, discus, javelin, high jump, long jump, triple jump, racewalk and multi-events.
Team Flash is a volunteer organization that relies on support from parents and the community. We have a community partnership with the Williamsburg-James City County Recreation Department.

Practice will begin on Tues, March 17th for new athletes and Tues, March 24th for returing athletes.
There will be a mantatory meeting for parents/guardians on March 31st at the start of practice. Please put this date on your calendars!

2009 Youth All Comers Meets
YOUTH ALL-COMERS TRACK MEETS: Team Flash will be hosting FREE youth all comers track meets for Williamsburg-James City County residents at Lafayette High School track dates TBD. See handouts for more info.
2009 New Town Meet Info

The 2009 New Town Invitational is Saturday April 25th at Warhill High School track. Please see HANDOUTS(4 pages) for additional information. All registrations will be done on line through DirectAthletics. Please let parents know that there is no seating at the track, so bring chairs or blankets. Concessions will be available.
