Tidewater Wolves Youth Football & Cheerleading League

Practice is held Mon-Fri from 6PM-8PM at Bethel Manor Elementary School. Registrations must be paid in full for your child to participate and/or to receive equipment. We are only accepting Junior Registrations at this time. Registrations can be paid on this site by clicking TWFCL Registration Form in the upper right hand corner of this site or in person at practice. Please see a board member during practice hours if you would like to register or pay your remaining balance at practice.

Mission Statement

 

Tidewater Youth Football and Cheerleading League (TWFCL) is a community based charitable, volunteer organization charged with encouraging leadership and building character.  We provide Flag Football for 5 & 6 year olds and full contact football as well as cheerleading for youth ages 6 to 14. Our community consist of Langley Air Force Base housing , York County, Hampton and Newport News . Approximately 85% of our families are affiliated with the military and normally 20% of our parents are typically deployed throughout the year supporting our country throughout the year.  Our goal is to ensure that parent and child left behind is in good hands with a support system to keep them focused and safe while the Mom or Dad is deployed.

 

Athletic programs provide those type opportunities for kids to participate in teambuilding, sportsmanship, and citizenship activities. Tidewater is committed to developing excellence in individual and team performance through a consistent and comprehensive approach to player and team development. We strive to offer a challenging, competitive and educational program that emphasize the importance of community, honesty, integrity and other life lessons/values through sports.

 

 

Tidewater is a member of the Peninsula Youth Football and Cheerleading Organization and all football coaches in the organization are required to be either certified or recertified through USA Football, as well as going through a Background Check through a reputable firm prior to stepping on the field each year.  Tidewater’s ultimate goal is to safely provide our players with the football skills, fundamentals, and experiences to help them compete successfully at the next level.
