WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE
TIGERS ATHLETIC CLUB
|
Providing The Youth of The Twenty-First Ward with
The Tigers Athletic Club a not for profit organization within the 21st Ward. We provide the youth of our community with the opportunity to participate in organized Baseball, Basketball and Hockey Programs.
We offer children between the ages of 4 and 16 the opportunity to participate in one or all of our three sports programs.
Baseball: March thru July
T-Ball/Coach Pitch- Participants are 4, 5 & 6 years old. Participants receive instruction on Baseball fundimentals and participate in controlled scrimages which are played on Saturday mornings.
"I" Ball- Participants are 7 & 8 years old. Participants learn and practice fundimentals as well as play controlled games. Coaches use a pitching machine at this level.
"C/B" Ball- Participants are 9 & 10 years old. Participants face live pitching at this level and keep records as the teams at this level start competing for championships.
"A/AA" Ball- Participants are 11 & 12 years old. Same as above with minor rule differences.
Pony Minor/Major Ball- Participants are 13 & 14 years old. Same as above with more rule differences.
Basketball: September thru March
Biddy- Participants are 8-12 years old. Participants are taught the fundimentals of the game and compete for league championship.
Senior- Participants are 13-16 years old. Same as above with minor rule differences.
Hockey: October thru March (in-door floor hockey)
Bantam- Participants are 4-7 years old. Participants learn the fundimentals of the game and compete in controlled scrimages on Saturday mornings.
Junior- Participants are 8-12 years old. Participants compete for a league championship. Games are played throughout the week.
Senior- Participants are 13-16 years old. Participants compete for a league championship. Games are played throughout the week.

HOCKEY REGISTRATION FOR THE 2009-2010 SEASON WILL CONTINUE DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER. YOU CAN REGISTER AT HILLSIDE DURING THEIR NORMAL OPERATING HOURS, OR REGISTER AT DOBSON SCHOOL ON THE FOLLOWING DATES AND TIMES: TUESDAY 1ST 6:30-8, SATURDAY 5TH 9;30-11, WEDNESDAY 9TH 6:30-8, SATURDAY 12TH 9:30-11, WEDNESDAY 16TH 6:30-8 AND SATURDAY 19TH 9:30-11. ONLINE REGISTRATION FORMS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE FORMS SECTION OF THIS WEB SITE, FILL IT OUT AND BRING IT WITH YOU TO REGISTRATION. DURING THE MONTH OF DECEMBER WE WILL OPEN UP THE GYM ONE NIGHT A WEEK AND ON SATURDAY FOR THE BANTAM PROGRAM (DURING REGISTRATION TIMES AND DATES). DURING THIS TIME COACHES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WITH KIDS GIVING THEM EXTRA PROGRAM TIME. ALL BANTAM LEVEL PARTICIPANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND AS MANY OF THE ABOVE SESSIONS AS POSSIBLE.
