The Southwest Florida Bobcats football team is a non-profit organization comprised of adult men ages 18 and above. The football games are played during the spring, February through May. The team plays a ten game regular season schedule, playoff games, a championship game and an all star game.

The team was formed to provide structured and organized support to promote minor league football. To achieve this, it is the intention of this team to regard athletics and competition in accordance with the objectives, including rules and regulations, set forth by the affiliated league. The objectives are to promote physical, mental, moral, social and emotional well being for all players; provide wholesome competitive fun; provide education in the rules and skills of football; develop good character and sportsmanship. The team embraces the highest ideals of fair play, integrity, dignified and ethical conduct, respect for self, opponents and officials. The team values the diversity of its players and respects the unique qualities amongst each individual.
