The Topton Torpedoes are one of 20 teams that compete in the Berks County Swimming Association (BCSA). The mission of the Berks County Swim Association is to foster amateur swimming, to promote good sportsmanship, and to improve competitive relationships among neighboring communities. Topton competes in the Arctic Division and the summer swim season runs from May through July.

Hello everyone,

Hope you all have been enjoying your summer since the swim season has ended. I wanted to reach out with an opportunity for more swimming before our pool closes for the summer. As some of you may have heard, I have been trying to get approval to have the pool after hours for some more swim instruction, post-season. Beginning this coming Sunday (August 15), we will be conducting a swim clinic for those who are interested going from Sunday through Thursday nights for two weeks (Aug 15-19, 22-26) between the hours of 6:00 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.. This is a great opportunity for kids to get a few last weeks of swimming in with more individualized instruction. It also presents a chance for any new or potential future swimmers to come out and see what swimming is all about. So, for any swim families with younger kids who are thinking of joining next summer, or that have any friends that may be interested, please feel free to spread the word.

If interested, please contact me ASAP, so that I can get an idea of what our numbers will look like. For two weeks of instruction, we are asking for a $30 fee for pool members, and $40 for non-members.
Please text, or email me with anyone who would like to sign up. I will attach my personal email and phone number at the end of this email. Also, if you may have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask. I hope to see you next week, and hopefully, we will have some new faces around the pool as well.

Thanks,
Coach Noah Hermany
