2010 Winter Indoor Soccer

Breaking News: Baltimore County Parks and Rec has bought the Perring Athletic Center in Parkville and turned it into the Northeast Regional Recreation Center, aka NERRC. On November 9th, NERRC announced the formation of a winter indoor soccer league for the area rec councils.
COACHES: We will need two coaches and assistants for every age group.

Indoor Soccer Details:
--Season: Starts the first week of January with scrimmages / practice for one week. The second week of January, we will start the games. 8 game schedule-- 1X/week. No practices after first week.
--Games: Games will be scheduled throughout the week and on weekends.
U8: Sunday afternoons and evenings 12:30-9:30 pm
U10: TTH 6-9 pm, Fridays 5:30-8:30 pm
U12: Fridays 8:30-10:30 pm, Saturday 8:30am--2:30 pm
U14: Sundays 8-3 pm
U17 coed: M,T, W, Th evenings 7:30-10:30 pm
--Uniform: Provided-- simple t-shirt. Players must supply shorts and shin guards. No outdoor cleats allowed.
--Leagues: Separate girls and boys age groups: U8, U10, U12, U14, and coed U17 (ages 14-17). Teams will be formed based on registrations through League Lineup, similar to the rec soccer program. This is recreational soccer only. Travel players are welcome to play but intact travel teams are not allowed.
--Teams: 7 v 7 teams, which means a maximum of 15 players per team. 13 is ideal if everyone shows up every game. There will be one-two teams per age level, depending on interest.
--Costs: Will be in the range of $45-50/player.
--Registration: Registration via League Lineup will begin on November 20,2009. Please register and pay online.
FALL 2010 SOCCER SEASON: Registration for Fall 2010 Soccer will begin April 1, 2010. All girls registered before June 1, 2010 are guaranteed a team. After June 1, a girl may be waitlisted for a team.
Travel Team evaluations will begin the first week of June, 2010. Recreational Soccer team formation is the first week of August, with practices beginning in late August. Games begin in mid September.
