The Miramar Twins top the Miami Marlins in back-and-forth affair, 10-7

The Miramar Twins outlasted the Miami Marlins on Sunday after nine lead changes, squeaking out a 10-7 win at Pepper Park. Anthony Shinhoster racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Miramar Twins. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the fifth and seventh innings. Kristian Gonzalez looked sharp on the mound.

Gonzalez held the Miami Marlins hitless over 4 1/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out three. The Miami Marlins jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first. The Miami Marlins' rally started when Alex Demicco singled. A stolen base then moved Demicco from first to second. Luke singled, scoring Demicco. The Twins answered the Miami Marlins' top inning with one run of their own in the first. The Miramar Twins scored on a passed ball. The Marlins posted two runs in each of the third, fourth and eighth. In the third, the Miami Marlins scored on a wild pitch, plating Cody. After a quick strike from the Miami Marlins, the Miramar Twins responded with three runs in the third. The Miramar Twins scored on an error, a sacrifice fly by Jose Garcia, and an RBI double by Shinhoster. The game was never in doubt after the fifth, as the Miramar Twins scored two runs on a sacrifice fly by Garcia and an RBI single by Shinhoster. The Miramar Twins pushed across one run in both the sixth inning and the seventh. In the sixth, the Miramar Twins scored, scoring Albert Mojica. Two runs in the top of the eighth helped the Miami Marlins close their deficit to 8-7. An error and a sacrifice fly by Jordan set off the Miami Marlins rally. The Miramar Twins closed the game out when Gonzalez got Cody to. The Twins quickly matched the Miami Marlins' strong inning with a two-run inning of their own in the eighth. The Miramar Twins scored on a wild pitch and a fielder's choice.

Guy Bitchatcho leads the Miramar Twins to 9-2 victory

Guy Bitchatcho was strong at the plate and on the bump in carrying the Miramar Twins to a 9-2 victory over the Dania Beach Diamondbacks on Sunday at Cypress Park. Bitchatcho put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Twins. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the first and fifth innings. Bitchatcho's nine strikeouts were enough to push the Twins past the Dania Beach Diamondbacks. Bitchatcho allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks over seven innings.

The Miramar Twins blew out the Dania Beach Diamondbacks thanks to 12 hits, including two extra base hits. The Twins scored two runs in the sixth on a groundout by Corey Gammons and a wild pitch.

The Twins were sparked by Junior Valdez and Bitchatcho, who teamed up for five hits and two RBIs.

The Miramar Twins didn't relinquish the lead after scoring two runs in the first inning when they scored on a two-run single by Anthony Shinhoster.

TheTwins tallied two runs in each of the second, fifth and sixth. In the second, the Miramar Twins scored on an RBI single by Kristian Gonzalez, plating Gammons.

The Miramar Twins offense too much for the Aventura Dodgers in 18-5 rout

The Miramar Twins shut the door early on the Aventura Dodgers, capturing an 18-5 victory on Sunday at Pepper Park.

With 13 runs in the first three innings, the Miramar Twins left no doubt about the eventual outcome.

A wild pitch, an RBI double by Albert Mojica, a two-run double by Corey Gammons, a two-run single by Kristian Gonzalez, and a wild pitch in the first inning fueled the Miramar Twins' offense early.

Gammons racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Miramar Twins.

Even though Barnaby Robles allowed five runs over four innings he still recorded the victory. Robles struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.

The Miramar Twins pounded the Aventura Dodgers pitching, as seven hitters combined for 12 hits, 10 RBIs and 15 runs scored.

The Miramar Twins added six more runs in the top of the third. A error scored Victor Pozo for the inning's first run. That was followed up by Laz Robaina's single, bringing home Mojica and Gammons.

The Miramar Twins built upon their lead with five runs in the sixth. Anthony Shinhoster kicked things off with a single, scoring Ronnie Arteaga.

The Miramar Twins jump on the Coral Springs Braves early and coast to 13-3 win

The Miramar Twins continued to pile up the runs on Sunday, scoring three runs in the last two innings, on the way to a 13-3 landslide win over the Coral Springs Braves at Cypress Park.

The Miramar Twins scored four runs in the first on a two-run triple by Jose Garcia, an RBI single by Anthony Shinhoster, and an RBI double by Victor Pozo.

Garcia racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Miramar Twins.

Barnaby Robles recorded the win for the Miramar Twins. He allowed two runs over seven innings. He struck out four, walked one and surrendered three hits.

The Miramar Twins fend off the Plantation Phillies's late push, hold on 8-7

The Plantation Phillies weren't able to overcome the big hole they dug themselves into against the Miramar Twins, and the Plantation Phillies lost 8-7 to the Miramar Twins after falling behind by three runs in the fourth inning.

The Plantation Phillies scored on a walk by C Cameron and an RBI single by C Abreu in the fourth inning, an RBI single by J Estevez and a sacrifice fly by C Cote in the fifth inning, and an RBI single by Estevez in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the Plantation Phillies couldn't finish the comeback.

Jose Garcia had two extra-base hits for the Miramar Twins. He doubled in the fourth and sixth innings.

Guy Bitchatcho got the win for the Miramar Twins despite allowing six runs over 5 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked four and surrendered 10 hits.

The Miramar Twins were sparked by Garcia and Ronnie Arteaga, who teamed up for four hits and two RBIs.

The bottom of the first saw the Plantation Phillies take an early lead, 1-0.

The Plantation Phillies got one-run rallies in the second inning and the seventh. In the second, the Plantation Phillies scored on an RBI double by A Deluca, scoring B Grullon.

The Miramar Twins stayed on top until the final out after taking the lead in the fourth, scoring three runs on a two-run double by Garcia and an RBI single by Corey Gammons.

The Miramar Twins increased their lead with two runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Samuel Vargas singled, plating Kristian Gonzalez. That was followed up by Victor Pozo's single, scoring Albert Mojica.

The Miramar Twins score early and often in 13-1 win over Kendall Metz

The Miramar Twins open the season on a high note with an impressive 13-1 win over the Kendall Metz. The Twins struck first in the 2nd inning with a run and they never looked back. Starter Barnaby Robles went 7 strong innings for the Twins as he allowed only 1 hit and struck out 5. New members Jose DeLos Rios and Samuel Vargas put on a nice hitting display as they paced the Twins with 2 hits apiece. The Twins will look to continue their hot start in next week's game against the Plantation Phillies. The Phils have been a thorn in the Twins side the past few seasons. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30 @Floyd Hull Stadium.

Twins will open season Vs. Kendall Metz

After another strong season your Miramar Twins fell just a bit short in reaching their 3rd NABA Championship Series. With some new key additions, the Twins expectations remain just as high as any other season. The quest for their 3rd NABA Championship will continue in the 2013 Spring/Summer campaign as they will welcome a new team to the NABA the Kendall Metz. The game will be Sunday, April 7 @ Claude Pepper Park. First pitch is scheduled for 9:30 AM
