UPDATE- Trip to Citifield

The original bus trip scheduled to Citifield to see the NY Mets play the St. Louis Cardinals on Sunday, June 3rd has been moved.  The NY Mets moved the start time of the game from 1:05pm to a 8:05pm start time.  This new start time will not work as it would be too late of a return time.

The trip has been rescheduled for Sunday, June 17th to see the NY Mets versus the Cincinnati Reds with a 1:05pm start time.  The league is aware that this is Father's Day but we are limited on what we can do.  I hope everyone who has already purchased tickets understands.
We still have tickets available for anyone wishing to purchase tickets.  The order form is on the league website.  Please remember players in their final year of eligibility are free.

Please send any questions to me at twintownlittleleague@gmail.com.

Little League International Announces Bat Rules Changes for 2012 Season
For the Little League Major Baseball Division and below: The moratorium on composite-barreled baseball bats remains in effect. However, some composite-barreled baseball bats that have been proven in laboratory testing to meet the BPF (Bat Performance Factor) standard throughout the life of the bat, through the Accelerated Break-In (ABI) process, have received waivers. That list is here: Licensed/Approved Composite 2 1/4 Bats.

As you take to the field this season, Little League International has assembled an online resource page dedicated to baseball bat information, which is available through the Little League website.

Click here to find the latest bat information, including the 2012 Little League Baseball rules and regulations governing bats, definition of terms, the moratorium on the use of composite bats, and a series of frequently asked questions, with answers.

If there is a bat-related issue that requires an explanation the answer is just a click away.

You are encouraged to you use this resource, and refer to it often to review the latest information.
