WHO ARE THE SOUTH COUNTY TROJANSIn 2003 Trojan Youth Football & Cheer was established, thus bearing the name of the South County Trojans, we are one of 27 chapters from Orange County Jr. All American Football. The Orange County name really understates the area we serve because chapters are found not only in Orange County, but also Los Angeles and the western portion of Riverside County. This large geographical base provides for not only cultural and ethnic diversity of our program, but also the highest level of competition. Orange County Jr. All American Football last year fielded over 200 teams with more then 9,000 youths ranging from ages from 5 - 14.
Our program is not about win-loss records or our competition placement. Instead, our program is about building life long character traits in our youth. This is accomplished with football and cheerleading as our vehicle. We teach that athletics and academics go hand in hand, with academics being first. We have programs in place to recognize scholar athletes at both the chapter level and the conference level, including providing money for college for alumni of our program.
Participants will be challenged this season to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, scholarship, and physical fitness. We are confident that each participant will rise to exceed expectations while learning teamwork, self discipline and leadership.
