The Union Rams Football Inc. is a Non-Profit Organization that has been serving the youth of our community for 42 years. The Union Rams consists of over 200 children who participate in Football and Cheerleading in the North Jersey Conference of Pop Warner Little Scholars. The organization is made up of 5 traveling football teams and 4 cheerleading squads. The children range in age from 7 to 15 years old. Registration for all levels begins in April and runs through the end of August or until rosters are full.

Pop Warner football and cheer practice begins August 1st. Practices in the month of August are held Monday through Thursday nights. Once school starts in September, practices are held Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights. Football requires 10 hours of conditioning before being eligible to have contact in equipment. The other requirements which must also be met for both football and cheer are a doctor's note, birth certificate, current picture and the FINAL June report card. The first game is usually the last Sunday of August with a regular season of 8 games. Hopefully, the play-offs follow or there is an opportunity to participate in bowl games or the Garden State games, if qualified.

We also offer a recreational flag program which consists of 5 and 6 year olds who want to have some fun while learning the basics of football and cheerleading, good sportsmanship and team spirit. Their practice season begins mid-August on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. The first game is usually the second Saturday of September and we try to get in an 6 game season.

We strive to teach the importance of education first and the value of fair play, good sportsmanship and team work to all children who participate in the program.

The Union Rams Football Inc. is a completely self-sufficient organization run solely by volunteers. This includes all coaches, directors and officers. We would like to thank the men and women who volunteer their time in the development of the youth in our community!

All funding is received through registration fees, snack stand proceeds and fundraising efforts done during the season. We welcome flag team sponsors or businesses wishing to advertise.
