CIF has moved the start date for football up next year by one week.  We are also playing an early game, which means it is even earlier than normal.  What all this means is that Football Practice will start on August 6, 2012.  Which is almost two weeks earlier than normal. 

 

There are proposals to get CIF to change this start and they will probably go through.  But not for the next season (the reason for the early start is the State wants to run regional state bowl games). 

 

Wanted to give everyone a heads up as far as planning for vacation etc.  Because CIF has a rule that you must practice in pads  10 days prior to playing in your first game, I wanted to give you as much time as possible to plan for vacations so that your son can play in the first game.
