VBSL LEAGUE WORKOUTS
Minor and Major League Baseball drafts were held, and everyone should have gotten phone calls from managers.
Pony baseball draft to take place later this week; no workouts (Week of Jan 30).
Softball In-Town Workouts and draft is Sunday, February 12th
(moved due to Superbowl). The schedule of workouts will be sent around February 8-9th. 2nd-5th grade will be working out.
Pony softball draft will take place around February 12th.

Please register on-line @ www.veronabaseballsoftball.com or drop registration form in VBSL lockbox in VCC lobby.
Baseball workouts are Sunday, January 29th for grades 3 and 5. All baseball drafts will take place Sunday.
Softball workouts are Sunday, February 12th for grades 2, 3, 4 and 5. All softball drafts will take place Sunday and Monday night(s).
Times to be announced. [These are workouts – everyone makes team; the managers watch each participant catch, throw and hit so teams are balanced and competition fair.] Workouts are held at the HBW gym.
Parents: if you would like to manage a team AND have not indicated so on your son/daughter’s registration form – please email the

REMINDER: NO Smoking or Alcohol!
Consumption of alcoholic beverages at any VBSL event is strictly prohibited. As noted on signs clearly posted at Everett Field, Verona Township Ordinance 102-2 prohibits the consumption and use of alcoholic beverages on Township Property. In addition, the VBSL has a zero-tolerance policy for the consumption of alcohol at any League events.
Your courtesy and cooperation in refraining from bringing alcohol to any VBSL events is most appreciated.
