BOYS BEAT BAYONNE - ADVANCE TO SEMI-FINALS.
The boys beat Bayonne 102.5 - 67.5 on Thursday at the Raritan Bay Area YMCA. Lincoln Harris won the 200 IM, and the 100 breastroke. Jeff Chan won the 50 and 100 freestyle and Tyler Blackburn won the 500 freestyle. The boys also won 2 of the 3 relays. Next up the boys will face Hillsborough in the State Semi-Finals.

VIKINGS SWIM OUTSTANDING AT GMC CHAMPIONSHIPS
The boys team took 2nd place and the girls team took 3rd place at the GMC Championships at Rutgers on Saturday. Medal winners included Cindy Shi Samantha Chan, Emily Charniga, Kristen Lally and Christina Napoli.
Cindy Shi won the 500 Freestyle, smashing her own school record by 8 seconds!
On the boys side: medal winners included: Tyler Blackburn, Jeff Chan, Lincoln Harris, Harrison Kudwitt, Ryan Finch, and James Wu. Tyler Blackburn took 2nd in the 500 freestyle and 4th in the 200 freestyle. Lincoln Harris placed 3rd in the 200 IM and Jeff Chan had a 4th place finish in the 100 freestyle and a 5th place finish in the 200 freestyle.
SWIM-A-THON
The team took part in a 1 Mile Swim-a-thon on Friday, January 13 2012 to raise money for the charity Good Grief. Thirty six swimmers and two coaches collected pledges and swam the 66 laps for this great cause. Thanks go out to Junior Tessa Trach for organizing the event.

Welcome to the official website of the South Brunswick High School Viking Swim Team. The team is starting its 15th season under the direction of Head Coach John Harding. Lorie Ruina returns as an Assistant Coach. Former Princeton University swimmer Rebecca Nyquist joins the staff as an Assistant Coach.
The 2010 - 2011 season was one of the most succesful seasons in school history and the coaching staff is looking forward to more success in 2011 - 2012. Come out and support the team. Please browse the site for important information regarding the team.
