14U Hitmen Open Spring Season The 14U Hitmen defeated the Sun Devils of Franklinville on Saturday 9-7 and suffered their first loss of the Spring season to the hands of the Seneca War Eagles 1-0.
14U Hitmen Honored by TSE League The 14U Hitmen were honored by the City of Vineland Mayor; Robert Romano for the success that the 14U Hitmen have had over the years. The Mayor gave each player a Certificate of Recognition for winning over 100 games in only 2 years, Champions of the Tri-State Elite League Fall Season and Sports at the Beach Oktoberfest Tournament, Runner-ups in the Washington Township Memorial Day Tournament and Tri-State Elite League Spring Season. The team gave Mayor Romano a Hitmen 100th Win T-Shirt.

16U HITMEN CHAMPIONS THE SPORTS AT THE BEACH BEACH HOOTOUT TOURNAMENT 16U were named tournament champions at the Sports at the Beach "Beach Hootout" over the weekend. They won game 1, 13-1 over the Delaware Rebels and won 14-2 over the Yorktown Sports in game 2. They headed into Sunday as the #1 seed. Since the tournament was canceled do to the weather, the 16U were tournament champions only giving up 3 runs and scoring 27.
Chris Lopez was named tournament MVP.
14U HITMEN CHAMPIONS THE SPORTS AT THE BEACH OKTOBERFEST TOURNAMENT 14U Hitmen won the Sports at the Beach Oktoberfest on Sunday. The Hitmen went 5-0 over the two day tournament. In Game 1,they defeated Lancaster Extreme 8-0 and defeated the #1 ranked team in the State of Maryland; Potomac Valley Outlaws 9-5. On Sunday they defeated the Easton Bayhawks 10-7 in the quaterfinals leading to a much anticipated game against the #34th ranked team in the USA the Potomac Valley Outlaws. The 14U defeated the Outlaws 12-1 in 4 complete innings. In the Championship Game the team beat the Lancaster Xtreme squad 9-1 in 6 complete innings.
Bryan Dobzanski was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player. Bryan Struck out 10 batters in the Championship Game.
With their first win on Saturday the 14U acheived their 100th win in just 2 years. Current record 104 - 22 - 1
National Junior Honor Society Congratulations to Johnny Malatesta, Jimmy Hague members of the 14U Hitmen, Joey Galan and Jose Mateo members of the 13U Hitmen for being named to The National Junior Society for Academic Excellence on Monday Night at Landis Middle School.

Hitmen Professional Clinic Day 1 Don Money worked with the Hitmen Players on fielding techniques and the mental approach to the game of baseball. Darrin Ford worked on base stealing from 1st, 2nd and 3rd base and also spoke on the smaller things in baseball that make a difference. The last 30 minutes was a question and answer session with both professional baseball players. Questions were asked by both the Hitmen Players and coaches. The Hitmen would like to thank Mr. Money and Mr. Ford on giving their time to the Hitmen.

16U Hitmen 90% of the 16U Hitmen were honored by the Philadelphia Phillies as they were members of the Eastern Regional Senior League Champions before their game against the Houston Astros Tuesday night September, 29 Vineland Senior League finished 2-2 in pool play at the Senior League World Series in Bangor, Maine. The team knocked off Italy and World Sereis Champions Texas. They were eliminated by Aruba.
Sports at the Beach Hitmen Baseball Club 13U and 14U went 6-2 over the weekend at The Sports at the Beach "Beach Wipe Out" Tournament
The 14U team beat the Tri-State Arsenal Blue 8-4 and then fell in the Semi-Finals to the Tournament Champions Tri-State Arsenal Red.
The 13U team defeated the Gildea Raiders 9-1 in the Quarter Finals before losing a tough 7-6 Semi-Final game to the Orgeon Ducks. The Ducks hit a walkoff homerun in the bottom of the 7th to advance to the 13U finals.
Professional Baseball Player Darren Ford Fresh off a 2009 California League Championship, the starting center fielder for the San Jose Giants, Single A Affiliate of the San Francisco Giants will be working with the Hitmen Baseball Organization. Darren will work with the outfielders on proper technique and fundamentals of playing the outfield. He will also show his skills on stealing bases.
Darren was rated the best defensive outfielder in the Milwaukee Brewers organization prior to the 2008 season and is currently the best rated defensive outfielder in the San Francisco Giant organization. Professional Baseball Manager / Player Don Money Manager of the Nashville Sounds, Milwaukee' Brewers Triple-A club, Don Money will be working with the Vineland Hitmen Baseball Club Money began his minor league coaching career as manager of the Class A Oneonta Tigers from 1987 to 1988. He became manager of the Class A Beloit Snappers in 1998. After seven years at Beloit, he moved up to the Brewers' Double-A affiliate, the Huntsville Stars in 2005. In 2007, Money was named the Southern League's Manager of the Year as voted upon by the league's field managers, radio broadcasters, and print media. On May 14, 2008, he became the winningest manager in Stars' history; he finished the season with 275 victories. In December 2008, he was named the new manager of the Nashville Sounds, Milwaukee's Triple-A club.
Money enjoyed a 16-year Major League playing career with Philadelphia (1968-72) and Milwaukee (1973-83). A four-time All-Star with Milwaukee, Money became the first Brewer to start in an All-Star Game (1978). He was a member of the 1982 American League Champion squad.
Money was voted Brewers team MVP in 1974 and 1977. During the 1977 season, he set a Major League record for consecutive errorless chances at third base (261) and currently holds the Major League record for most consecutive errorless games at that position (88), set from September 28, 1973 through July 16, 1974. He ended his playing career with the Kintetsu Buffaloes in Japan in 1984.
In 2005, Money was inducted as a member of the Milwaukee Brewers “Walk of Fame,”

Major League Pitcher Curtis King Curtis King, former Major League Baseball Pitcher has been working with the Vineland Hitmen Pitchers over the last week. Curtis has been working on new pitching mechanics, pitch grips, pitch sequence and other pitching strategies. Curtis played Professional Baseball from 1994 - 1999 with the St. Louis Cardinals Organization. He had is Major League Debut in August, 1997. Curtis King = MLB Stats
Coach Provenzano to work with 10U Hitmen Mr. John Provenzano "Coach Pro" will be working with the 10U Hitmen during the fall season. Coach Pro is the Assistant Baseball Coach at St. Augustine Prep in Richland. He will focus on the fundamentals of hitting with the 10U.
Professional Baseball Player Jason Law Professional Baseball Player Jason Law worked with the Vineland Hitmen on Saturday. Jason worked with each kid one on one with their hitting, throwing and defensive skills. Jason played professional baseball from 2002-2005 and was an NCAA Louisville Slugger Division I first teamer during his senior year at Monmouth University. All-American Professional Stats
Hitmen Showcase Team Hitmen Showcase Team WON the ECTB Summer Sizzler over the weekend of June 27-28 in Sussex County Delaware. The Teams finished the tournament going 4-0 and beat the Delaware Heat 10-1 in the championship game. Summer Sizzler Results
