2015 Baseball Bat Resource Page

For the Major Division and below:

Bat barrel diameters can be no larger than 2 ¼” and must not be longer than 33”. All non-wood bats shall be clearly mark with a BPF (bat performance factor) of 1.15 or less. Wood bats are legal. All bats with composite barrels must be on the approved list which can be found here http://www.littleleague.org/learn/equipment/licensedcompositebats.htm

For the Intermediate and Junior Division:

Bat barrel diameter can be no larger than 2 5/8” and must not be longer than 34 inches. Wood bats are legal. Any bat with composite in the barrel must be BBCOR certified (Batted Ball Coefficient of Restitution) and it must carry the BBCOR certification on the bat.

The NCAA is who does BBCOR testing. As of now, only drop 3 (-3) bats are tested with BBCOR. This means that a 2 ¼” composite barreled bat that is legal in Majors or below is NOT legal in Intermediate or Juniors. There is NO requirement for 2 5/8” bats to have a BPF rating.

For the Senior and Big League Divisions:

Bat barrel diameter can be no larger than 2 5/8” and must not be longer than 36 inches. All non-wood bats in Senior and Big League must be BBCOR certified and carry the BBCOR stamp. Wood bats are legal.

Welcome to the home of the Vineyard Little League. We are located in the city of Rancho Cucamonga and are now part of the Little League District 71, which in 2007 split off from Little League District 21. The Vineyard Little League Program is a nonprofit organization interested in building leadership, learning skills, teamwork and discipline. We take pride in bringing together boys and girls from the city of Rancho Cucamonga to learn important things of life through playing organized baseball. We encourage good sportsmanship, respect for our community and each other, strong team unity and we are focused on keeping youth sports in its proper perspective. All our volunteers are dedicated to making your child's experience a positive one.

President Mike Brown and The Board of Directors welcome all players, parents, and fans. We hope you will find this website useful. Vineyard Little League is also very proud that they are the home of the:
