Kobee Returns to the Twisters!!!
Beau Kobee returns to the Twisters for the 2012 season. Beau is entering his second season as a Twister coming off a great 2011 season. His batting average was .253 with a slugging percentage of .313 and 10 RBI's. He is currently attending The University of Toledo.
Van Wert Twisters to play in summer 2012
The Van Wert Twisters summer college baseball team will be accepting player recommendations for their 2012 season. The roster will consist of 20-25 players for the summer and will be made up of players from local colleges. The team will compete in the Heartland Amateur Baseball League (www.leaguelineup.com/heartlandbaseball) as well as playing 30-35 games with other college summer baseball teams. The team will begin activly seeking sponsors for this summer within the next month or two. Stay tuned for more information at this website as details begin to take shape.
