Notes to ALL Cheerleaders and Parents
Welcome to the home of the

Waltham Pop Warner Devil Dogs

After a very good year for Waltham Youth Cheerleading, Maria has decided its time to allow someone else to help with our Cheerleading program.  She has been a great help to the system for the past few years and we will all miss her.

That leaves the opportunity for a new parent/volunteer to step in to help with our cheerleading program.  This position would work closely with our current Cheer directory to learn how the program works and to work closely with the kids to encourage them and watch over them.  This would be a great opportunity to be closer to your children and all of the work that they will be involved in.

If you would like to learn more about this great opportunity, please e-mail our current Cheer directory with this link.

Already getting ready for next year!

All used helmets are sent out for complete safety checks and reconditioning.

Should I let my child play tackle football?

The below link is to an article that describes one fathers thoughts and information about why parents should not deny the opportunity to play tackle football to their children.  There are also some interesting statistics in the article about football and injuries.

We need people just like you

We are looking for adults who are willing to help out with our program.  We need coaches and assistant coaches for Football.  All you need is a willingness to want to help our youth to play football and play it safely.

If you have any questions or are interested, please e-mail Richard Scanlon at "rscanlon@colonialrealestate.net"
