GREAT WEST FOOTBALL LEAGUE DOWN TO FOUR TEAMS
The newest league organized by Mike Howard kicked off with only four teams on January 28th. Gone are the Alameda County Knights and Las Vegas Eagles. Original plans was for eight to ten teams to be in the new league.


PACIFIC FOOTBALL LEAGUE TO KICK OFF SECOND SEASON APRIL 14TH.
The second year, Pacific Football League (Oregon/Washington), kicks off its second season on April 14th. Gone are the defending champions, Kitsap County Bears, who say they are taking a year off to regroup, and the Klamatch County Crusaders (Oregon).
This year's lineup of teams: Southern Oregon Renegades (2nd place 2011),Portland Monarchs, Vancouver (Washington) Vipers, Bellingham Bulldogs, South Sound (Olympia) Shockers, Yakima Mavericks, Springfield (Oregon) Buzzards, High Desert Lightning, Portland Raiders, Oregon (Eugene)Outlaws.

GRIDIRON HAWAII LEAGUE FORMING
A new league on the Island of Oahu called the Gridiron Hawaii League has a web site with info on seven teams as follows: Can Spiders (Ewa), South Pacific Kings, Mililani Mad Birds, Honolulu Volcanos, Tribal Warriors, Pearl City Tiger Sharks, and Waikiki Sting Rays. No info is given as to when the league kicks off its season.

CASINO BOWL XXVII INFORMATION
National Football Events is sponoring its XVII "Casino Bowl" All-Star game, Saturday, March 31,2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Information and forms can be found on www.nationalfootballevents.com or www.casinobowl.net. They are looking for Team, League or National Association All-Stars and MVP's to participate.

TEXAS UNITED LEAGUE LINEUP OF TEAMS TO DATE (January 13,2012):
The TUFL, the oldest on-going league in Texas has 19 confirmed teams ready to play. More may be added before the season starts. Here is the current lineup:
W.Texas Longhorns, Dallas/Fort Worth Xpress, Denton County Rhinos, Forth Worth Avengers, North Texs Lightning, North Texas Falcons, Weaterford Bullets, Copperas County Soldiers, Texarkana Warriors, Shreveport (Louisiana) Storm, East Texas Outlawz, Freedom Fighters, Arlington Redhawks, Arkansas Redhawks, Port City Jaguars, Centrex Vipers, Plano PItbulls, Mexia Trojans and Paris Stars.

AMERICAN INDOOR FOOTBALL ANNOUNCES LINEUP OF TEAMS
The new American Indoor Football League will kick off its first ever season in March 2012 with nine teams, five in the West and four in the East.
WESTERN TEAMS: Sin City Blackjacks (Las Vegas), Stockton Lightning, Onatrio (Southern California), Sacramento Eagles and Arizona Outlaws.
EASTERN TEAMS: Harrisberg (Pa) Stampede, Cape Fear Heros, Maryland Reapers and Virignia Badgers. League web site: www.aifaprofootball.com.

INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE SET WITH TEN WESTERN FRANCHISES
The Indoor Football League was organized in 2003 with six teams in Texas, and was known then as the Intense Football League. Going into the 2012 season the league stretches from coast-to-coast, and has eighteen teams, with ten of them making up the Western Divisions "INTENSE CONFERENCE"
Here is the lineup western teams: Allen (Tx) Wranglers, Colorado Ice, Everett (Washington) Raptors, Nebraska Danger, New Mexico Stars, Wichita Wild (Kansas), and Wyoming Calvary. The Everett team played last year as the Seattle Wolfpack.


ULTIMATE INDOOR LEAGUE UPDATE
The Ulitimate Indoor Football League will have four western franchises: Tri-Cities (Eastern Washington), Allen (Texas) Wranglers, Sioux Falls (South Dakota) and Wyoming Calvary. League web site: theuifl.com.

GRIDIRON DEVELOPMENTAL LEAGUE ANNOOUNCES WESTERN LINEUP OF TEAMS
The second year Gridiron Developmental Football League is the largest minor league in the USA. It has added three divisions in the West for the up coming 2012 season: PACIFIC NORTH DIVISION; Pacifica Islanders, North Valley Wranglers and River City (Sacramento) Gators from the Northern California League, plus the Nevada Dream, Las Vegas Pride and Sacramento Warriors in the PACIFIC SOUTH DIVISION;
The entire LaBelle League of Southern California is now a division of the GDFL for 2012. Established teams from other leagues in the West are expected to join the LCFL.

AMERICAN INDOOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE ADDS LAS VEGAS TO LINEUP
The new AIFL has announced a five team western division which kicks off in early March 2012. One of the franchises is a new team for Las Vegas, Nevada. The team is holding open tryouts in January. To learn about the team and tryouts call Mike Howard (702)624-9004.

COLORADO FOOTBALL CONFERENCE ADDS AND DROPS TEAMS FOR 2012 SEASON
The Colorado Football Conference will kick off its 24th season of play in 2012, and gone are the Denver Titans (2011 CFC runners up), Northern Colorado Wolfpack and Broomfield Dawgs. New teams are the Denver Dynasty and North Metro Thunder.
The Titans have moved on to a new league called the American Professional Football League, which is a outdoor farm system for the APFL2 Pro Indoor League. (No web site found).

NEW MEXICO PREMIER LEAGUE
The second year New Mexico Premier League will kick off of on February 19, 2012. The league is going with two AAA Divisions, and a AA Division:
AAA PECOS DIVISION: Alamogordo Desert Dawgs, Curry Cats, Las Cruces Kings, Albquerque Razorbacks, NM Blackhawks and NM Titans. The Titans won the 2011 Championship.
AAA RIO GRANDE DIVISION: Albquerque Falcons, Albquerque Predators, New Mexico Crush, New Mexico Miners (2011 Runners Up) and New Mexico Wolfpack.
AA DIVISION: Espanola Hornets, Las Vegas (NM) Outlawz, NM Chargers, Santa Fe Knighta and Valencia Hitmen.

WESTERN WASHINGTON FOOTBALL ALLIANCE

PACIFIC NORTHWEST MINOR LEAGUE HALL OF FAME INFO
Guy Gabriel, a former coach and player in Western Washington,and a member of the Minor League Football and American Football Hall of Fame is the director of the new Pacific Northwest Football Hall of Fame.
