As with any parent-run organization there is a certain amount of help that is required to assure smooth operations resulting in the best possible experience for the children participating. Thankfully, we've been very fortunate in this area. Many, many people offer to help out regularly with the various projects going on in and about the Little League Organization.
With this in mind, we thought that it would be beneficial to have a coordinated Volunteer effort so that anyone who is interested in lending a helping hand can find his/her favorite place to help and that we have enough help in all areas.
Listed below are 2 of the committees that need volunteers for us to move along with the planning. If you would like to donate your time in any of the following areas, please contact Colleen Queen at colqueen@verizon.net and she will gladly help to find you a time and place to help based on your response.
Thank you so much for all of your continued support! We really have a lot of creative things going on and that is to your credit as parents who are willing to pitch in and help!

Concession Stand Committee
This is a group made up of 10-15 people who are willing to open and close the stand approximately 3-4 times a season. This group also makes decisions regarding the daily operations of the concession stand. If this sounds like a great volunteer opportunity for you, please email Colleen Queen at colqueen@verizon.net
Looking ahead, we will also be needing volunteers in the following areas: Tournament Committee (field maintenance, Programs, Recruiting Teams, Bracketology and Uniforms), Uniform Distribution/Collection, Sponsorship (seeking out local businesses to become League sponsors at various levels), Team Parent (helping the coach with some team details) and Challenger Program (more info on WPLL website). Please check your email in the next week or so regarding these volunteer opportunities!
Thank you in advance for all of your help!
