West Toronto Minor Midgets ended the season, playing
Hamilton in the Ontario Baseball Association AAA Final on
Monday September 6th.
We lost 2 – 0, after a very long weekend, with the
weather delays, waiting for other games to finish and the draw for the bye.
Overall the team went 39-14-1 for the season, including winning 2 Tournaments
(Brantford & Mississauga North).
We also played in both the City Finals and the OBA
Finals.
West Toronto Baseball
Started in 2007, West Toronto participated in a Toronto Baseball Association (TBA) initiative to form ‘AAA’ Regional Teams.
In 2012 Our 5th Anniversary we will have teams at the Peewee (13 year olds), Minor Bantam (14 year olds), Bantam (15 year olds), Minor Midget (16 year olds), and Midget levels (17/18 year olds).
There are 5 regions across Toronto; Etobicoke, West Toronto, North York, East York and Scarborough. The West Toronto Region includes High Park Baseball, Toronto Playgrounds Baseball and York Baseball.
The program provides the youth of Toronto a place to play baseball.
