Every year White House Dixie Youth reaches out to businesses and individuals for support and sponsorship of our teams. They help to provide uniforms, equipment, and upgrades to our facilities. WHDY as we know it would not be possible without the sponsorship from the companies and individuals that so graciously give to this organization. Sometimes we loose sight of that and take it for granted.
The 2011 board of directors would like to thank those companies and individuals for giving unselfishly to help us provide a place for our children to call their ball park. Our hope is to help promote the patronage of their business while at the same time providing the children of our community a safe environment in which to develop mentally, physically, and socially. Our children are making lasting memories with the help of these businesses. Their commitment and donation to our organization is much bigger than they could ever imagine. Some are own peers that we see everyday and others are companies that we work for or frequently visit.
The WHDY Board of Directors asks you, as parents, as family members, as friends, of those children that enjoy the benefits of these silent providers that if you see a sponsor, or visit their business, tell them thank you. Those simple words coming from you could help them understand how grateful we are. When making a decision between two companies or restaurants, support them as they have done our community and your children. They have helped us make this organization one we can all be proud of and call our own and for that, we say THANK YOU. |

** Baseball Sign-ups ** |

We are currently taking baseball sign-ups for the 13-14 year old age group. If you would like to sign-up please download the sign-up form fill it out and mail to P.O. Box 492 White House, TN 37188. Please make your checks payable to WHDY. The cost of sign-ups is $95 for in city and $107 if you live outside the city limits. You can also contact a board member for more details.
Would you be interested in coaching 5 through 16 year olds in baseball or softball? Do you have experience, but left the game because your child no longer plays? If you have the time and desire, the league would be interested in talking to you. Please give a board member a call. |

Please visit our Sponsors web page. Sponsors can advertise their business for as low as $50 on our website. A renewal outfield sign is only a $100. We receive almost a 100,000 hits a month during the season, so you will be seen. If you know of a company or organization that would like to sponsor the league or a team, please ask them to fill out a Sponsors commitment form or fill out a on-line Sponsor sign-up form and someone will get in contact with them. If you have filled out a form, please submit it to a board member.

The White House Baseball and Softball league is a non-profit organization, run solely by volunteers. Feel free to look around our website, join an email list and check out the calendar for upcoming events, or reply to an entry in the forum. If you would like to see any additional material just let us know and we will do our best to get the content added. There is a lot of information in the documents, coach and parent corner sections, if you have an idea for better organizing these sections or any others let us know. Check out the general information section, be sure to review the different drop downs on this page. Do you have a suggestion for a future poll, let us know. If you have time please sign our guestbook and let us know about yourself. If you find information that needs to be corrected, removed, or updated please email the Webguy with any needed changes. |
Coaches, if you are playing the last game of the night, make sure that the lights are turned out on your field. The home team coach is responsible for turning out the lights for the last game of the night. If you are using the portable mound and have played the last game of the night, please put the portable mound in the storage shed. Scorebooks can be picked up in the concession stand before your game. The home team is responsible for chalking the field before the start of game play. Coaches if you would like statistical information posted on your teams individual web page, please email the Webguy with your name and team requesting a login so that you can enter the data yourself. |
