The Wheeling Wildthings are a travel baseball organization (12u & 13u) located in the Northern Panhandle of WV. We stress the fundamentals (fielding, throwing mechanics, hitting), the mental aspects of baseball, good sportsmanship, and athletic performance. 

We practice indoors at local schools during the winter months. We will also be using the The Total Athlete facility in Tridelphia WV this off-season. We participate in an indoor wooden bat league at C-Side Sports in November and December. 

We also provide some supplemental lessons, video analysis, scrimmages, and athletic performance clinics. We practice outside at our home field, I470 Complex, where we will be participating in the Cooperstown Dream Park Tournament & Ripken Experience in 2018. 

We anticipate a very competitive tournament schedule for this upcoming season.

We will be having a Memorial Day Weekend tournament May 25-27 2018. Cost will be $425 per team. There will be 9u-14u awards to the top 2 teams in each division. All teams players and coaches will receive free tickets to the Washington Wildthings game if they are in town that weekend. More information​ to come. We are trying to restore Pulaski Field in Benwood WV. We have been working on it but it needs more work and money. Some of the things we would like to do if fix the fence, fix the dugouts, rebuild pitching mound, and add field dirt to field.
